Does the name of the polish bother me?
Nah not in the slightest but I will state that it won't be for everyone but if shocking orange or just plain shocking people is your game you may want to add Eve Snow Real Bit*hes Love Rih Nail Lacquer to your collection.
Real Bit*hes Love Rih is a bright orange shade that is not neon but still delivers in terms of impact.
It is a little similar to Illamasqua Alarm but this is a smidgen brighter, name aside the shade is really wearable and will suit the majority of skin tones and age groups. As with all Eve Snow polishes this has been enriched with argan oil, ginkgo biloba and vitamin e so it nourishes the nails as well as coating them with colour.
A quick note on the brush - it is long and flat, it does not fan out and coat the entire nail, it is good for precise application but it somewhat slows down the process due to the shape.
As I have Calgel Nail extensions I couldn't apply the shade to my own nails but I have applied it to a nail wheel and found that for the best results you really do need three coats of this shade on its own, or a white base coat before application. The polish is rather thin in consistency but it does dry quickly which is always a bonus.
What do you think?
Too shocking, a little try hard or utter genius?

Lovely shade, I'm not brave enough for coral nails though. The name is a tad try hard, but least it does make them stand out!

The censoring annoys me. If you're going to be edgy... well, just fucking do it. Don't pussyfoot around with it.
ReplyDeleteThe colour's okay. Not really my cup of tea, and I'm way too lazy for a three-coater.
the colour is lovely - the perfect red orange.
ReplyDeletehowever they are quite expensive for £14.95

I like it, don't love it. Orange is so huge this season and I feel like I've seen better colours. Maybe it looks better in person?

The shade actually looks pretty good with only one coat, pretty opaque. I'm always looking for new nail polish brands to try, they always seem to chip on me!!
