Well not quite but I am confident that it will be here in a matter of months if that going by a rather promising email and the delivery of a taster box of Physicians Formula best selling products.
You see not so long ago I was emailed by such brand and asked a few questions - mainly what did I think of Physicians Formula and where did I think it would be best suited to it terms of stockists.
In my opinion it has to be Boots or Superdrug - even better if they can get both chain of stores on board. To me it only makes sense that what is essentially a drug store brand in North America be stocked in the British equivalent? I actually think it would be a good competitor brand to the likes of Revlon and Max Factor as it has a similar type of niche and feel - more so Max Factor now I come to think of it. Like I said I have nothing and I mean nothing in terms of release date, if it will indeed hit the UK and how much it will retail for. However I would be highly shocked if we didn't see some form of Physicians Formula products here in Britain by early 2014 even if they do have to go down the online route like Kardashian Beauty did and price wise I think the products may be slightly higher than some expect. I had a nosy while in the states and on average their products retail for around $13 which is the higher end of drugstore when you consider the price point of the likes of Maybelline, Wet n Wild et al state side. If I was to betting woman (i'm not) I would place money on the prices being more akin to Revlon than Miss Sporty.
Guesses aside from what I have played around with from the samples I was sent by Physicians Formula I am quite impressed - I will of course post detailed reviews in the coming weeks. The products are funky but well made and offer something a little more daring and different than what I usually see on the high street. I adore that the brand is known for its embossed powders and that the majority if not all products are paraben and cruelty free. I can hand on heart say that I think should Physicians Formula launch within the UK that we will all go a little gaga for it!
If Physicians Formula launches in Britain what one product will you be hoping to snag?

Soooo cool! Hope they come to Bulgaria, as well (although that hope is quite feeble) :)
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed! I would absolutely love to see Physicians Formula hit the UK! :) xx

I just featured PF as a number one brand to buy when in the states because we don't have it. Their blushes and bronzers are things of serious beauty. I love their packaging and their approach that makes make up fun.
ReplyDeleteOne of my lahhvely commenters said that you can buy limited products from them on iherb.com so I've already put in an order but I'd be thrilled to see them hit the shops this side of the water. x
Those products look lovely, I'd like to be able to have access to more brands too, I think some of the British ones are getting a little "samey" now.

ReplyDeleteI'd like to try the shimmer strips, because they seem to get a good write up/review...LOL that you say that the products are 'funky', because that word has a different meaning in the UK than the US!

Ooh I must've gotten the same e-mail and taster pack as you did! I filled out their survey and I told them if they don't opt for Boots and/or Superdrug as their stockists then to definitely go for a site like FeelUnique or even BeautyBay. I'm looking forward to trying the mascara - I've seen a lot of American Youtubers use it and sing it's praises! xxx
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness this is exciting, I've been wanting to try their blushers for aaages!
ReplyDeleteJess xo
I know you can get some products in TK Maxx if you're lucky, but they're really sparse. I am gleeing though, I've wanted to try their Happy Booster stuff for AGES.

I just got a couple of products a few months ago on a shopping trip to the usa when I visited my family in mexico. i got the loose mineral powder and the pressed one. I didnt quite like the loose powder because it was too sheen-y for me and was left disappointed by it. I haven't opened the pressed powder yet but i'd like to know if it has a sheeny finish like the other one does. Please do a review on it :)
ReplyDeleteAlso I've seen some phisycians formula products in tk maxx

PF make some really awesome products. It is available here in Oz but as Aussie prices so you're looking at $25 for one of their pressed powders! I tend to get mine online. They make a truly fab SPF50 face powder which for me is the perfect way to top up on sunblock and mattify/set makeup at the same time. They also do an SPF50 bronzer in three shades! We need those kinds of products! Hope they end up in the UK : )
ReplyDeletethis is one brand which I love even more than Urban decay, I really like there trio liners. I can keep on repurchasing them for rest of my life :)
ReplyDeletehttp://dressnmakeup.blogspot.in/

ReplyDeleteI would love them to come to Ireland (& the UK). I've bought some of their products in TK Maxx over the years, and I have to say that they have always been good quality.
ReplyDeleteOne product I've never seen in person, but have seen Estee from Essie Button rave about is their blushers, which look amazing.
