If you are a fan of bright coral nail polishes Essie have a treat for you within their Summer 2013.
Ladies and gentlemen meet Essie Sunday Funday the prettiest coral I have seen in a long while!
Did I purchase Essie Sunday Funday as the title includes a slight nod to my blog name?
Of course but any coral fiend would be sucked in by this bright, perfectly formed coral offering - cool name or not. Sunday Funday is somewhat similar to Essie Cute as a Button but only a little brighter and with a fine silver glitter scattered through out. Normally I am not one for glitter polishes unless they are a chunky topcoat but in this instance I find it works rather well and gives the polish a little extra dimension.
One thing I did notice about Sunday Funday is that it is pretty sheer, it required three coats before becoming opaque can be rather cumbersome. If like myself patience is not your strong point then I highly suggest that you apply a white base coat before applying this particular shade, that way you will only need one coat.
As most will know I currently have Calgel false nails on at the moment so other than applying nail polish to my tootsies I haven't been able to swatch this (I will save you from any feet photos!). I have however included a few swatches on paper and false nails to tide this post over until I remove my false nails and update with full nail swatches.

Lovely shade, but I cannot stand sheer nail varnish or nail varnish that takes a while to dry :(

I spotted this the other day when I was trying to decide which nail varnishes to treat myself to under the buy one get one half price offer but I resisted to go for some cheaper ones. I kind of wish I hadn't now as one of the one's I picked up I didn't like :(

Sunday Funday looks like a gorgeous coral shade for the summer but I'm not a big fan of shimmery/glittery nail polishes. Still a beaut of a shade though. Love the name too :)
