Glossybox July 2013 Review

I don't really pay attention to a calendar but nothing quite drives home how quickly the year is going by like the delivery of a Glossybox. Now we are into July so it only makes sense that the box is fitting to what most of us in the UK deem to be the holiday season. So without further ado let me share what is inside my July box...

Essie Sleek Stick Nail Wraps in Stickers and Stones (Full Size £9.99)
I am rather excited to try these out properly as from a cheeky one nail application they do seem to be of better quality than other nail wraps I have tried out in the past. The black and diamante design is a little too vampy for the current sunny weather but I have cast these aside for the festive season which will be here before we know it.

Alterna Haircare Bamboo Style Waves Tousled Texture Mist (Sample)
Basically this spray works similarly to a sea salt spray in that it creates soft waves in the hair but I do think that the effect created will be entirely dependent on your hair type. Unlike sea salt sprays this doesn't leave my hair feeling sticky/stiff nor a knotted mess however the overall effect wasn't all that impressive and I do have a natural wave to my hair.

Sleek Make-Up Pout Paints (Full Size)
I don't know how many each box is meant to contain but I have two (yay!) I have blogged about the Pout Paints several times and best described is that they are a great dupe for OCC Lip Tars. I recieved Minx which is a light yellow pink that is not at all dissimilar to MAC Angel and Peachy Keen which is a bright orange based coral.

Coola Organice Sun Rose Essence Tint (Sample)
This is a bizarre little product a tinted sunscreen that is actually a tinted moisturiser. It has a lovely light texture and is quickly absorbed into the skin and doesn't at all feel heavy, greasy nor leave the skin oily rather it settles to a dewy finish. The only downside is that one shade does not suit all and unless you have light to a medium skin tone this will leave you ashen.

Anatomicals Spray Misty (Full Size)
I love, love this spray it is cooling and smells utterly divine. Yes the spray mist could do with being a little finer and no it doesn't set make-up like it claims but for cooling down the face and body it is simply perfect.

I don't know about you but I rather liked this months Glossybox.
