Wella Color Recharge Conditioner

Please excuse the terrible battered bottle which may not be all that visually stunning but hey at least you know that I have used and abused it. So much so that my bottle of Wella Color Recharge Conditioner is on it's last legs...one more use if i'm lucky.

As any one with coloured hair will tell you in-between salon visits the colour can fade and look lackluster - i'm currently at that stage and it doesn't help that my hair colour is treading somewhere between light brown and dark blonde Well the new Color Recharge range from Wella Professionals has been created to helps protect against fading and to keep coloured hair looking fresh. At the moment Wella Color Recharge collection includes six various Colour Recharging Conditioners - two for brunettes, two for blondes and two for red heads. Having an in-between type hair colour isn't all that easy but in the end I went for Warm Brunette in the hope that it would add a little life to my brown low lights and perk up my blonde highlights at the same time.

Wella Color Recharge Conditioner

You use the Wella Color Recharge Conditioner much like any other conditioner - after shampooing but it is encouraged to leave it on the hair a little longer so that the colour pigments have time to absorb into the hair. Basically the longer you leave the product on the better and the same with use - the more you use it the quicker you will see results. Wella Color Recharge Conditioner in Warm Brunette is a bright orange in colour  (don't worry the orange is to help brighten and warm brown hair) and has a lovely fresh scent. In my opinion this is a fairly light conditioner so even fine hair types can use the colour best suited to them without worry of weighing the hair down. Once rinsed off I found my hair easy to comb through and once dry I noticed that it was brighter and left with a glossy shine from the very first use. I have now been using this conditioner for two weeks and although my hair has changed massively in tone (it shouldn't) my overall colour doesn't seem quite as dull or tired for that matter. The main difference is that any orange/brown tones within my hair have gone and that the highlights seem fresher...win!I would pick this up again but I will wait until my hair isn't at such a cross road in terms of colour so I can get the very best results.
