Oh look another rose based spin off perfume...this better be good!

I apologise for coming across a little peeved off but I really am sick to death or rose based versions of favourite perfumes clogging up the market place - it is lazy, uninspired and really just a quick way of making a cheap buck. In my opinion a lot (not all) rose fragrances smell similar so is there really any need for another?

Apparently so because Viktor and Rolf have just launched within the UK the previously only available within the Middle Eastern market - Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb Rose Explosion. Part of me is intrigued by the new offering due to the tantalizing list of notes - honeyed Turkish rose absolute, Moroccan rose absolute coupled with mandarin, bergamot, pink pepper, amber, vanilla, patchouli and oud but like I said I have grown tired of rose fragrances...that and I don't fancy splashing out £130 on a bottle when deep down I know I will always prefer the original Flower Bomb!

Top Notes: Turkish rose absolute, Moroccan rose absolute, Mandarin, bergamot, pink pepper and saffron.
Heart Notes: Jasmine and olive.
Base Notes: Amber, vanilla, patchouli and oud.

Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb Rose Explosion is available now within the UK exclusively to Selfridges
