Like most I am forever on the look out for cheap and cheerful hair masques, having long, thick hair I go through deep conditioners at an astounding rate and tend to keep my pricey jars for a monthly treat. If you are in a similar predicament I highly suggest taking your little butt along to Superdrug and leaving with a tub of This One Get Locks Glam Again Replenishing Treatment.
This One Get Locks Glam Again Replenishing Treatment is a super thick conditioning treatment which may be a little heavy for finer hair types but if you have thick, curly, damaged or all of the above hair conditions this little purple pot should be on your bathroom shelf. This One Get Locks Glam Again Replenishing Treatment is a blend of two notoriously nourishing butters - cocoa and shea butter, it is scented by the latter.
Normally I avoid cocoa butter like the plague as it tends to leave my skin itchy but on the ends of my hair it is nothing short of utterly fantastic, I now understand why so many herald it to be a wonder product. This conditioning treatment also contains both Wheat Protein and Panthenol which are apparently known to help strengthen hair.
The directions do suggest that you apply This One Get Locks Glam Again Replenishing Treatment from root to tip and leave for five minutes before rising clean. If you have exceptionally dry hair i'm sure that would be fine but as the damage to my hair is at the ends and as I fear putting conditioner of any type on my roots (greasy roots no thanks) I tend to apply this to the mid lengths of my hair right down to the tips. At the moment I am a little pushed for time and haven't had time to leave a deep conditioner on for any length of time and yet this product still works! I can honestly say that although this product may not be wonderful at detangling the hair it has to be the most nourishing masque I have tried in a long time and a little goes a long, long way. To touch my hair you'd never know that it has been bleached countless times or subjected to heat, instead it feels super soft and looks silken. Easily the best £5.99 I have spent and one that will be coming on holiday with me to save my poor tresses from the Florida sunshine!
This One Get Locks Glam Again Replenishing Treatment £5.99/150ml via Superdrug - link.

It sounds like you have hair similar to mine. Very long, thick, a bit of the damaged and thirsty side. I'm currently using a Tresemme hair mask, which is actually amazing but I'm always up for trying new ones. I may have to pop to Superdrug and invest in this too. x

I saw this comment on my dash board and was like did I just comment on my own post haha! Tresemme doesn't do much for my hair sadly :( in the past it has left a weird coating on my hair so I tend to avoid the brand but this one is fab. So, so nourishing :) x
Deletethis is my type of product!

I just sniffed my hair (I used it yesterday after a sauna) and all I can smell is a mix of my perfume and shampoo which is odd! So nope it doesn't :)
