Pure Lochside Orange and Echinacea Toner

Since I spent the morning on the bonny banks of Loch Lomond this morning I thought it would be only fitting that I share my review of Pure Lochside's Orange and Echinacea Toner...I mean could it be any more fitting (ten points if you read that in a Chandler Bing voice). The scenery photos are of course of Loch Lomond such a shame that the sun was not shining!

Given the name of the product line Pure Lochside is of course influenced by Scotland in short the entire skin care line is therapeutic and made with 100% pure plant oils (free of parabens and SLS) all the while utilising the essence of Scotland all with an aromatherapy base. Of course fellow Scots will have an inbuilt affinity to towards Pure Lochside much how we will quote Braveheart but don't let that put you off it is a great skin care brand with some of the best scented products I have tested.

I don't use toner in the typical sense - to remove the remains of cleanser and/or dirt, make-up etc as I double cleanse each night I don't really feel the need for the additional step but to each their own. Instead I prefer to use toner as a refreshing facial splash - I tend to water down my chosen toner and dispense it into a facial mist spray bottle and spritz my face every now and then for a gentle pick me up. Used in such way Pure Lochside's Orange and Echinacea Toner instantly refreshes not only the skin but also my mind thanks to the uplifting citrus based scent, the light mist is absorbed into the skin instantly without leaving my skin dry, tight or irritated.

As many will know I don't personally purchase facial mists as they tend to be in my opinion over priced scented water but I have found that watered down Pure Lochside's Orange and Echinacea Toner cools, refreshes and uplifts what more could you want? Oh and as you have watered it down a little goes a long way and you can also use it in the traditional sense as a toner should you wish!
