I love travel sized skin care kits as I try my darnedest to travel light basically so I can fill my case with goodies from my travels but who truly wants to lug full sized products around when you can purchase a cute mini pack to suit your needs?
Elemis have recently launched a few Freshskin travel packs which each contain a face mask sachet, a moisturiser and a facial wash. Yes the sachet is pretty small but you can get two applications from each sachet and if like me you only tend to go abroad for a fortnight that is enough for a treat once a week.
The two varieties are Super Glow (the kit I have) for glowing skin and Extreme Clean for those who enjoy a deep cleanse and matter skin.
Within the Elemis Super Glow kit you will find an Elemis Peachy Perfect Gentle Face Wash (30ml) which has been formulated to be gentle enough for young skins (the freshskin range is for teens and early twenties skin types) with all the cleansing power you come to expect from Elemis. I have tested the Elemis Peachy Perfect Gentle Face Wash with a full face of make-up and although I do not recommend it for eye make-up I can vouch that it removed my heavy foundation and other make-up effectively without leaving my skin feeling tight or shiny which some facial washes tend to do.
As mentioned above you will also find a small sachet of an Elemis face mask in each kit and within the Super Glow sampler it is the Elemis Magical Moisture Quenching Face Mask (3ml). This mask is the perfect treat for summer parched skin and helps to restore moisture levels and rid the skin of dry patches. Think of it as an intensive moisturiser without the heaviness that such products often come with.
Every travel bag needs a good moisturier to quench thirsty skin and Elemis have supplied their Super Glow kits with a firm favourite of mine - Elemis Softly Softly Moisturiser (15ml). This light weight moisturising lotion is perfect for oily skin types as it is so light yet it is hydrating enough for drier skin types too. As the name may suggest this does a wonderful job of softening the skin and keep dry areas at bay.
Both of the Elemis Freshskin Travel Kits* are available now from selected Superdrug, Debenhams and Harvey Nichols stores for £11 each.
