I'm sure it will come as little surprise to most that I enjoy nothing more than a coat of self tanner or two. However I'm not all that keen when it comes to tanning my face, I am forever worried that self tanner will eventually block or clog my pores so I do approach self tanners for my face tentatively. None the less I have found a few that work for me - for something long lasting I rely on Clarins Liquid Bronze Self Tanning Lotion for Face - review link and for a wash off dose of colour I recommend St Tropez Instant Glow Face Lotion.
Any user of St Tropez products will more than likely vouch that if a natural olive tan is what you are after then there really is nothing better. St Tropez Instant Glow Face Lotion may seem daunting to begin with as it is a deep brown shade that has a fairly runny consistency but rest assure that once applied and blended into the skin the end result is light, natural and like I said of an olive tone. Despite being rather deep in tone I feel that even the lightest skin tones could use St Tropez Instant Glow Face Lotion as it blends out so well, if you have a mid-deep skin tone I do recommend applying a few layers for a more suitable colour.
The reason I rate St Tropez Instant Glow Face Lotion so highly is not only because it provides a natural sun kissed glow but also because it dries matte and to some extend hides my old acne scarring without the need for foundation etc. Also as it is a wash off formula it is essentially fool proof - you can see immediately where you have applied and in turn can safe yourself from streaks or an uneven tan which isn't always the case with self tanners that develop over time. Despite being a wash off formula you don't have to worry about rain or the self tanner transferring onto clothes, to remove the tanner you do have to use soap!
If you are looking for a brilliant self tanner for your face that is both effective and gentle with a natural olive colour then look no further than St Tropez Instant Glow Face Lotion!

DeleteThis sounds worth a try! St Tropez are my all time favourite for tanning, it gives such a natural glow especially as I'm quite fair and am scared of the tangoed look! £10.50 seems a pretty good price too :-) x

This sounds a lot easier to apply than anything I've tried. Does it leave behind a scent?
ReplyDeleteJillicious Cosmetics
Nope :) I'd say it is less scented than a foundation if that at all makes sense?
