With Summer on the forefront of most of our minds I'm sure I'm not the only one on the look out for a great light base so I can hopefully ditch my full cover foundation. If it is a convenient product you are after then look no further than Pixi Illuminating Tint and Conceal which contains both a tinted moisturiser and a concealer in one handy tube. Summer just got lighter in more ways than one!
Let's be honest no-one in the right frame of mind ever sets out to over pack be it their suitcase or make-up bag so the Pixi Illuminating Tint and Conceal packaging is perfect for all those who are hoping to lighten their make-up bags load. The sweet pistachio green tube not only contains 28ml of tinted moisturiser but contained in the lid is a great sized concealer resulting in space and time being saved. I do love a good multi-tasker!
Speaking of multi-tasking the Pixi Illuminating Tint and Conceal doesn't just provide a flawless base but it hydrates and protects the skin with an SPF 20. Pixi currently offer this duo in four shades and I have shade no.2 Bare Glow which is a great shade for light to medium skin. The skin tint is a little too light for my skin tone and after a few comparisons I would say it is approximately around the MAC NC25-30 mark with the concealer being a little lighter again. Although a little light in tone as it is a sheer tinted moisturiser I can apply it without it looking odd or leaving my skin with a white cast.
If dewy skin is what you are hoping to achieve then Pixi Illuminating Tint and Conceal is a product well worth investing in as it is gently evens out the skin tone all the while adding a radiant glow, hydrating and protecting in one quick step. As this is a tinted moisturiser the coverage is very sheer and natural however if you combine the moisturiser with the concealer which covers both blemishes and dark circles with ease you can build up the coverage level. The concealer is best used for blemishes as the creamy texture does have a habit of settling into the under eye creases. The tinted moisturiser is perfect for all skin types as it doesn't encourage oily skin to produce more sebum nor will it cling to dry areas rather it feels light on the skin and looks fresh for up to six hours. If you are lucky enough to be blessed with great skin I highly suggest picking up Pixi Illuminating Tint and Conceal to achieve a natural looking glow.
