Pixi Beauty Bronzer in Subtly Suntouched

Not so long ago I was obsessed with Benefit Dallas Blush/Bronzer as it is the perfect mix of bronzer and blush combined in one nifty little pan however with it being matte it can sometimes look a little flat. If like myself you enjoy the dusky tones of Benefit Dallas you simply must check out Pixi Beauty Bronzer in Subtly Suntouched.

Much like all Pixi Beauty products the Pixi Beauty Bronzer in Subtly Suntouched comes presented within their trademark pistachio green packaging which I think adds to the brand name - Pixi. When I think of Pixi images of lush garden greens and florals come to mind so the green hue of the packaging could be more fitting. The Pixi Beauty Bronzer line feature a screw top compact that is pretty large in size complete with a soft and well sized kabuki brush.

As I mentioned above Pixi Beauty Bronzer in Subtly Suntouched is very similar in terms of colour to Benefit's Dallas Blush/Bronzer. To my eye Subtly Suntouched a cool toned light bronze that has a mauve tinge and the slightest hint of pink. Although a cool toned product it doesn't turn ashen on my mid skin tone and actually looks a whole lot more natural when wore as a blush than a typical bronzer does due to the slight pink leaning. Typically I wouldn't recommend using this in the same way you would a matte or deeper toned bronzer as it won't really warm the skin, I find it is best used a blush particularly due to it's light shimmer finish. I hasten to add that deeper skin tones may find this shade better suited for highlighting.

Pixi is a brand I need to explore more of as their products have so far done nothing but utterly impress me.
The Pixi Beauty Bronzer in Subtly Suntouched is finely milled with a velvet soft texture that feels light on the skin and despite having a light shimmer finish I do not fit it to settle into fine lines or enlarged pores. If you are not a massive fan of highlighting but still like a little radiance as well as hint of colour on your cheeks this is the product for you. The dusky pink bronze shade gives a natural almost sun kissed effect to the cheeks while the  light shimmer particles highlight and add a luminous finish. In terms of wear I have found that the Pixi Beauty Bronzer in Subtly Suntouched tends to last on my oily skin for close to 8 hours when used with a primer.

Basically if you are looking for the perfect summer blush look no further!
