Makebelieve Enhance Sunbeam Bronzer

I go through phases with self tanners at times I adore, others i'm indifferent and every now and then I am indifferent so with a varying skin tone I do like to have a selection of foundations and bronzers at hand ready to suit my mood. At the moment I am going through an indifferent stage and only slap on a coat of St. Tropez every now and then so I have been sculpting my face using a lighter bronzer and one that I rate higher than NARS Laguna! Ladies and gentlemen let me share my thoughts on Makebelieve Enhance Sunbeam Bronzer.

As much as I rate the shade of the Makebelieve Enhance Sunbeam Bronzer I can't say I'm all that enamored with the packaging purely because it is rather bulky. I do realise that it has to be larger as it houses a brush as well as a pan of bronzer but handbag friendly it is not. On the plus side you do get everything you could ever need to apply bronzer including a mirror and a brush which is super soft and doesn't seem to be an afterthought unlike other free brushes you get with cosmetic items.

Makebelieve Enhance Sunbeam Bronzer is a great mid brown matte bronzer that has a yellow undertone but does lean slightly taupe/ashen at the same time allowing itself to be used both as a typical bronzer and as a sculpting shade. If you have a light to medium skin tone this is the perfect all round bronzer - you can use it to warm the complexion and to fake cheekbones that would make a supermodel jealous without every worrying that the Makebelieve Enhance Sunbeam Bronzer will turn you orange! I also like to use a little of this bronzer as transition shade when blending out eyeshadow, I normally use MAC Soft Brown but until I can get stateside and buy a new pan this is proving to be a great alternative.

As far as reasonable priced contour powders go I have so far found this to be the best - yes even better than Sleek's Contour kit. The light and velvet like texture of Makebelieve Enhance Sunbeam Bronzer makes blending a dream and as it is just perfectly pigmented (not so much that you have to blend for forever and a day and not so little that you have to cake it on) I have been reaching for it daily. The shade looks natural, feels great on the skin and wears well without caking or settling it pores/fine lines, basically if you have a light to medium complexion and like to sculpt your face this should be on your to buy list!

Random Fact - The mask used by Michael Myers in the original "Halloween" was actually a Captain Kirk mask painted white, due to low budget.
