Yes that's right Glossybox is now two years old which is quite the milestone all things considered.
In the two years I have been blogging I have seen many a beauty sample box come and as quickly as it arrives on the scene it disappears which is unfortunate but kudos to Glossybox for sticking around.

So a very Happy Birthday to Glossybox and on with what was inside my box...

Givenchy Noir Couture Mascara (1.5g/Sample) - Pure and simple a great mascara that does all it claims to - lengthens, curls and adds volume in one quick step. If I hadn't already promised myself a tube of YSL's Babydoll Mascara when it launches let's just say that I would be purchasing Givenchy Noir Couture Mascara in full size.

Harmony Moisturising Creme Balm (10ml/Sample) - Harmony Moisturising Creme Balm is an Aloe Vera based butter moisturiser that contains a natural antiseptic. As I have oily skin I did find the consistency a little to thick and heavy to be used on my face but have found it to make a wonderful nourishing hand cream.

Beautiful Movements Mixing Medium (2.5g/Sample) - I can't say for sure as the ingredient list on the back is tiny and eligible but to me this mixing medium come primer does feel a little heavy in the silicone stakes.Truthfully I'm not keen on the texture, I applied a little to my oily t-zone and was very aware of it being on my skin. For me make-up has to feel light and almost non-existent so for that reason alone I'm not a fan but I have read some great reviews so to each their own.

Caudalie Divine Oil (15ml/Full Size) - First of all I adore the scent of Caudalie Divine Oil, I'm not sure what it reminds me of but it is almost fruity and floral at the same time. As it is a dry oil you can use it in numerous ways but my preference is to use it before dry brushing my skin in the shower. I've heard it works wonderfully on the hair so I may try that next.

Nails Inc Portobello Neon Polish (4ml/Sample) - I have already blogged about this amazing neon coral here -link, it is safe to say that it is a firm favourite of mine and I have since bought this in full size...oops!

As a little extra Glossybox have included some cute match stick like nails files which are perfect for popping into your handbag.

Truthfully the box is decent enough but not really a patch on last months box - link which I think should have been the birthday box. As it was a celebratory box I would have liked to have seen a full sized product in each box - I know technically that the Caudalie Oil is being deemed a full sized product but in my opinion it is very much a sample size. That being said I did receive some great little bits that I have enjoyed testing out and like I always say with Glossybox it is the luck of the draw and if you enjoy surprises each month then it is the beauty subscription service I recommend.

Glossybox* is a monthly subscription service which you can find more about here -link
-* PR sample sent for consideration of review.

Random Fact - Today it is Bono's Birthday and also Kenan from Kenan and Kel ha! Happy Birthday lads.
