Slight exaggeration but it has been a while since I've as much as looked at Impulse spray on body fragrances. As a youngster at school dodging P.E I more than likely had a can of Impulse rolling around at the bottom of my bag along side my half eaten sandwiches and what not. Impulse spray on fragrances don't just invoke memories of Secondary School (High School) but also of being a very young pup and practicing my Spice Girl dance routines to anyone who'd watch. I was a little girl obsessed, anything the Spice Girls endorsed I simply had to have (to this day I still can't drink Pepsi) and I did traipse my poor Granny all over town to collect all five special edition Spice Girl Impulse fragrances. Good times...
As nice as that trip was down memory lane I do think Impulse Body Fragrances have a place in my life even as a proper grown up (I pay bills and have responsibilities how did that happen?). I am a complete fragrance fiend and never without a bottle of perfume in my bag, car or gym locker. However I do worry that my carelessness will sooner or later result in one of my beloved bottles of fragrances dying a premature death and that is where Impulse Body Fragrances are perfect. Light, cheap and offer a quick burst of refreshing fragrance when needed what's not to enjoy?
It get's better though as Impulse Body Fragrances have had a little re-design and now feature scents from the world renowned expert Ann Gottlieb who in the past has created scents for Dior and Marc Jacobs to name a few. I have been sent four of the newly mad over scents and on the whole I am impressed, okay they won't last all day but for a quick pick me up you really can not fault it. Fans of Clinique Happy in Bloom must check out Tease as it is very similar, Secret Smile is limited edition and reminds me of Marc Jacobs Daisy. Romantic Spark is a berry based scent and not unlike Ralph Lauren Big Pony 4 (purple bottle). Lastly I have been gifted Hint of Musk which is a deep musk scent and not to my taste but it is one to check out if you like long lasting fragrances.
Who knew re-living your teenage years could smell so good?
The new re-designed Impulse Body Fragrances are exclusive to Superdrug until May* for £1.99 each -link

I used to use these years ago and to be honest I still use them today. I had no idea the scents for these are by someone who has created scents for Dior and Marc Jacobs! It is amazing!

I used to always have a can on impulse floating about my bag, they were so handy for school! I keep meaning to buy them again to avoid carrying massive perfume bottles. That's pretty cool they are made by someone behind such big brand perfumes! Xo
ReplyDeleteI love body sprays, you can just spritz away and it doesnt matter as they're so cheap especially in places like Savers or Bodycare. I love Romantic Spark!
ReplyDeleteI LOVED O2 and Zen Impulse... I sort of wish they still made those! My sister had all the Spice Girls ones and, like you, can't drink Pepsi or eat Chupa Chups due to her Girl Power obsession!
ReplyDeleteI love these, they are soo nice and have a great variety to choose from. Can't wait to try at least one of these.
