Nails are very much having a moment with each new launch getting a little more creative as we go along. I recall thinking a few years ago that the crackle polish offerings were so innovative...pah not so much now.
If you are a doodler like myself you simply must get Ciate Chalkboard's Manicure kit, it contains all you need to go scribble mad on your own nails...if only I had more skills.
Basically you paint your nails with Ciate's Chalkboard Paint Pot - a full coverage, opaque in one coat, matte black nail polish, then using the four chalk pens supplied all of which have cute names such as recess and satchel you go to school (pun fully intended) on your nails.) The great thing is that as the pens contain liquid chalk if you dislike what you draw on your nails or make a mistake you can wipe the chalk off and start all over again! Once happy with the design you set with the matte top coat (which dries quicker than anything I have ever experienced) and off you go to showcase your funky new nails.
Okay the Ciate Chalkboard won't be for everyone or for the office but there is no denying it is oodles of fun and a great addition to the already expansive nail art options available out there.

Random Fact - If you draw a line with chalk around some Ants, they won’t cross it. Calcium Carbonate in chalk will puncture their skin and kill them with dehydration.
I saw this at Sephora the other day! What do you think about this product idea? It seems cool to me but also geared towards a younger audience!

I do like the look of this but personally I think the nibs on the pens should be thinner, they look a bit too thick to attempt anything too intricate.

This random fact is horrifying!
ReplyDeleteI think Ciate has gone a little on a whim with this one. I admire the idea but I don't think that a normal (not a beauty blogger or nails obsessed) girl will rush to the store for this.
