Bourjois have recently unveiled a collection of new So Lacque Glossy Nail Lacquer Shades each prettier than the last, think ice cream coupled with candyfloss and Katy Perry's Teenage Dream album and you have the idea. Super sweet, cute but bang on trend, let the sugar overdose commence!
All in eight new shades of Bourjois So Lacque Glossy Nail Lacquer's have launched with of course include the three I am about to review but also staple shades such a french manicure friendly pink, fire engine red and a few neutrals...something for every taste essentially.
For £5.99 the formula is truly out of this world, so much so it puts a good few of my pricier nail polishes in the shade. A smoother than smooth application thanks to a brilliantly shaped and weighted brush - a long, tall stem and handle allows for controlled application and the slightly smaller and more narrow brush provides precision. The actual polish slicks on like a high quality gel polish and dries to a high glossy finish, one word - smitten. Yes some of the pastel shades are a little sheer and require a few coats but as each coats dries rather speedily you quickly forgive and forget especially since you can forgo a top coat.
04 Amande Defile - One of the prettiest mint green polishes I have come across, a pale almost pistachio green that is creamy, flattering and has a glossy finish - the only mint polish you'll ever need if you ask me. This is a three coater without a white base but like I said it dries so quickly that it's really not a big deal.
06 Adora-bleu - Regular readers will know of my love for cornflower blue polishes and how I once found the perfect shade only for it to be discontinued well my dear friends this shade has a firm grip on my heart. The perfect mix of lilac and blue with a formula that is essentially opaque in one coat, if you buy one shade from the Bourjois So Lacque collection let it be this one.
08 Peach and Love - I'm not really one for pink polishes but this milky yet bright pink reminds me of strawberry ice-cream and I can't not love anything that reminds me of such treat...yum! I think come the summer this will be a great pedicure shade. This required two coats to become opaque.
I seldom rave about nail polishes but the Bourjois So Lacque Glossy formula is rather spectacular and I can not recommend picking up a bottle of Adora-bleu enough...I will be stock piling this perfect blue.

So pretty! i knew that it was about time that other brands would bring out nail polishes that are similar to the BarryM gelly polishes which seem to be quite popular. What i like most about these is that it dries very quickly and the colours are very true to the bottle. I will be purchasing some of these babys when i am next out~ especially the peachy pink colour which will be perfect for spring~
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing <3
