Today sees the launch of a good few new additions to the Barry M make-up line which is already rather expansive for a quick run down of what has launched today please see this post - link.
I think it is safe to presume that most British ladies will have at least one Barry M Lip Paint in their collection
but have you tried out their newest formula - Barry M Ultra Moisturising Lip Paint?
If you like moisturising but pigmented lip formulas this is for you.
To separate the Ultra Moisturising Lip Paint formula from the original lip paints Barry M have packaged them slightly differently, yes they still come presented within the square style lip stick tube most of us recognise but gone is the black and in is shiny bright pink packaging which should appeal to the inner girly girl
in all of us, much like the standard black packaging this is strong and does a great job of protecting
the lipstick inside and that's what really counts!
Newly launched today is the shade Vixen (163) which is a bright, true classic red and one of the few shades that will not only appeal to a huge demographic of women but also suit the majority too as it has a neutral, yellow undertone. I'm not a huge red wearer so I don't have any dupes for this shade but I can say that if you like Barry M's Lip Paint in Pillar Box Red (121) but disliked how drying it can be then this is a pretty good match with added moisture.
Sadly as the Barry M Ultra Moisturising Lip Paint formula contains Cocoa Butter I have been unable to wear test these as I am slightly allergic and my lips don't need much help in the enlargement stakes haha!
What I can say is that unlike some of the previous shades in the original Lip Paint collective the Ultra Moisturising formula lives up to it's claims and feels balm like on the lips while delivering a moderate level of colour, sadly these are not as pigmented as the typical Lip Paints by Barry M but they are not weakly pigmented either.
They have a light glossy finish and are a little prone to slipping due to the slight balm like texture so be sure to use a liner and perhaps a lip sealant of some sort for pro-longed wear.
Barry M Ultra Moisturising Lip Paint* (£4.49) in Vixen launched today via Superdrug and will hit Boots on April 17th.

I love a more glossy lip finish so I will have to go check this out because the normal matte finish of lipsticks doesn't really suit me, the cocoa butter sounds great, it's a shame about your allergy!
