A few days ago I shared a few press images and snippets of information about the new Barry M Nail Art Pens but I have now had the chance to try them out for myself and share my thoughts since they launch tomorrow!
As you may know there are four shades to collect of the new Barry M Nail Art Pens: Black (true glossy black, Pink (a light candy pink), Silver (light, bright metallic silver) and white (bright true white).
Unlike other nail art pens that I have tried over the years the Barry M versions come presented within chunky crayon style pens which are surprisingly easy to grip and handle. The nib of each pen is firm and like a real pen and again not typical of other nail art pens, the bonus of having a solid nib is that is super easy to control and should you have the skills (I don't) it will allow you to create really detailed nail art.
What I really like about the Barry M Nail Art Pens is how quickly each shade dries, in my opinion their is nothing more annoying than creating a really pretty nail design and then smudging it. You can literally draw on your design and within a minute said design is dry. Sheer brilliance I tell you and I for one really hope that in the coming months Barry M launch other shades I'm hoping for some tropical shades!
These will launch via Superdrug and barrym.com April 10th and Boots April 17th.
the retail price for the Barry M Nail Art Pens will be £4.99 each.
I want want want these! x

£4.99 ouch, I could buy a nail brush for 99p on eBay!
ReplyDeletethese are fab, and so different to the likes of the models own pens!! theres nothing worse than doing a perfect design and then having to squeeze the pen for more polish and ruining the design, so these look right up my street :) xx
ReplyDeleteSeems like a good product but a bit expensive comparing how much it cost to buy a nail art pen online. Will check it out in shops :)
ReplyDeleteThese's seem really good, first time i've heard about them! I'm really unsure whether i need them or not though, i'd love to do nail art but i'm so terrible at it!
