It has to be said that Collection do concealers rather well, their Lasting Perfection Concealer has pretty much cult budget buy status within the UK beauty world and rightly so.
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer does a wonderful job of disguising blemishes and what not but for the under eye area I'm not a fan - it creases and is just a little too heavy in texture for my needs that is where Collection Illuminating Touch Brightening Concealer steps in.
Available in three shades : Natural, Naked and Glow this pen style dispenser is not easy and fuss free to use but perfect for popping into even the smallest of make-up bags for on the go applications.
Speaking of the pen applicator the tip is constructed of fine synthetic bristles that are gentle on the delicate under eye skin and do a mighty fine job of blending the product into the skin.
As mentioned there is three shades and I was sent the lightest to trial - Natural which is a little too light for my skin tone but a great match as a concealer for those who have a fairer complexion.
Natural has a slight pink tone to help counteract the blue tones of dark circles under the eyes.
Yes this may be a tad too light for me to use to conceal but as this is a three in one product it has it uses!
Collection Illuminating Touch Brightening Concealer isn't just a creamy concealer that helps disguise the signs of a bad nights sleep but it can also be used add a little radiance to anywhere on the face and as a liquid highlighter.
Collection Illuminating Touch Brightening Concealer is quite a thick textured concealer but it does blend out well and once blended out you can really see the radiance particles, I must stress radiance not glitter or shimmer but a fine illuminating quality.
As a concealer it is effective and makes light work of disguising dark circles and general signs of fatigue as well as being an effective cream based highlighter that does not settle into the pores or fine lines which eyes seem to be prone to.
Once applied and set with a little powder Collection Illuminating Touch Brightening Concealer stays in place for around 8 hours and I also find it to make a great base to apply to the eye lid for other eye products.
Watch out Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer, Collection Illuminating Touch Brightening Concealer is vying for your budget beauty crown!

I love this but hate the packaging. As will all Collection products the writing seems to come off on my hand and if you're not careful the black ink can end up all over your face. Love it but have now moved onto the Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer whose writing doesn't come off lol!
ReplyDeleteHow does it compare to other highlighter concealer pens?? X
ReplyDeleteI might need to try this I have just finished my Maybelline Dream Lumi touch which was AMAZING! I will do a review soon!
