Topshop is no longer a place just to pop into on your lunch break and mooch the stands for a new pair of jeans or something to wear at the weekend...oh no their make-up line is something to behold with new products constantly being added and one of the most extensive ranges of nail polish shades on the UK high street! My utter must have from Topshop is their cream blushes and more recently their Blush Stick cream blushes.

As much as I adore Topshop's typically compact cream blushes I have to admit that I find the packaging a little annoying, the matte white design means that any traces of make-up and dirt cling to it and even with a wipe down it never quite looks as good as new. Also with said design you also need a brush or your finger tips to apply which on the go can be messy and inconvenient, with the new stick design you can dab on and blend in - quick and easy.

At the moment there is only two shades available in their Blush Stick line which includes Sneakpeak a bright candy pink and the shade I plumped for Acting Up which is bright coral shade.
Topshop's Acting Up is the perfect summer coral it is a balanced mix of orange and pink with a substantial yellow undertone which will lend it's self well to most skin tones.
Acting Up reminds me slightly of another Topshop Blush - Head Over Heels only slightly deeper in tone.
A great summer addition to any make-up bag and due to it's dinky little size perfect for taking away with you should you be lucky enough to have somewhere warm and exotic booked for the summer holidays.

I had read online that Topshop's Blush Sticks were a little sheerer in finish compared to their compact counterparts but I can happily report that it is not true in-fact i'd deem them to be the exact same formula just in different packaging styles. Much like the compact versions the Blush Sticks offer great pigmentation in one swipe but should you have a deeper skin tone you can easily layer the product on to add intensity without it caking. I find Acting Up to apply like a cream and settle to a soft matte powder finish with wears for at least 7 hours on oily primed skin and does not highlight any flaws.

All in all an amazing cream coral blush that is easy to use and wears like a dream!
So the next time you go into Topshop I urge you to forgo the jeans, dresses and what not and head for the make-up stand it seldom let's me down!
