One reason why I adore OPI so much, beautiful shades aside is that most if not all their main collections features mini sets that allow you to try out four new shades without burning too big a hole in your pocket.
The latest launch by OPI for Spring is Euro Centrale which is a collective of 12 shades all of which have been titled with tongue in cheek puns based on European cities.
The one shade I would say to look out for which is not featured in the mini kit is Polka.com which is a rather funky glitter and a must have for those who enjoy a good glitter polish or two.
So what shades are in the miniature quad?
- Can't Find My Czechbook "I hope you take credit because I must have this aqua!" - truthfully this is a fairly typical aqua creme shade that many a nail brand does, nothing overly special but a nice enough shade.
I find this to be fully opaque in two coats with a highly glossy finish.
- Suzi's Hungry Again "Thank goodness there are zero calories in this warm and yummy pink!" - a bright almost neon coral pink shade that will pop on deeper skin tones. One of my favourite shades from the OPI Euro Centrale collection, again this is a creme formula with a high sheen finish that looks best with two coats.
- You're Such A Budapest "If I let you borrow this peri-winkle purple will you go away?" - easily the must have shade from this collective, a milky lavender tinged blue shade (bluebell?) that is simply stunning.
This preforms exactly as the two shades above.
- OY-Another Polish Joke "So this shimmery gold walks into a bar..." - truthfully this shade is a little out of place in amongst the other three and would be more at home within the 007 collection of last year. That being said if brighter than bright gold shimmer polishes are your thing I'm sure you'll snap it up! Unlike the others this is a light shimmer/glitter finish that is very sheer and takes up to four coats to become opaque.
All in all a really cute quad of shades that are perfect for travel or for those like myself who can never quite finish a bottle of nail polish!

I'm on the fence about ordering this set - the colours are lovely, but I don't think I'd use them often for fear of staining! x

I agree that the Polish one does look a bit out of place when compared to the others, still a lovely colour though. The Budapest shade is my fave in this mini set :) x

I love mini nail polishes from OPI because it give you a chance to try shades before you commit to buying thier large sizes. My favourite one out of the bunch has to be the shimmery gold colour~ although it does take several coats to get a opaque finish, but the finished result looks really pretty! Thanks for the swatches~ <3
