If like myself you are a little nutty on Carmex lip balm - I've lost count on just how many times I've mentioned the little yellow tub on this blog, you may be pleased to know that three new scents/flavors have joined the Carmex line up!
Along with Lime Twist -review link Pomegranate and Vanilla are welcomed into the Carmex lip care family.
I'm undecided what scent I like best but I think the creamy tones of Vanilla is edging out the fruity and candy flavour of Pomegranate but only by a whisker.
Much like the original Carmex formula these sweetly scented lip balms not only instantly hydrate the lips but they also heal and soothe cracked and chapped lips. With Summer just around the corner (she says with more than hope in her voice) the added SPF 15 will come in handy.
Speaking of things being "handy" I am really enjoying the screw up mechanism over the traditional dunk your fingers in tub, less mess and more hygienic, win/win.
I always have a Carmex lip balm on my person sometimes more than one (I have a habit of stashing things in my coat pocket) and now I can have a fruity version with me should the warmer weather ever arrive!
The new Carmex* flavors are available now from the usual Carmex stockists such as Boots and Superdrug for £2.55 each.
* Products sent for consideration.
So glad they have made these scented as wasn't a fan of the original smell.x

I got the lime one but it still had the original smell/taste. Kind of medicinal, not for me, abit too strong. X
ReplyDeleteAh I really like the scent but if that's not for you try the pomegrante version it is the least medicinal out of the three, or try the tinted balms they smell like strawberry sweets :)x
DeleteI've never tried Carmex - I don't think we have it over here, we have something similar called "Blistex" though, it's also for lips... Maybe it's the same? Haha
ReplyDeleteGreat post!

I love carmex! i am a lip balm fanatic and carmex is one of my favourite lip balms hehe. I usually get the one in the tube formula but i find it difficult to squeeze the right amount out as sometimes i squeeze slightly too hard and too much product comes out. I always prefer the twist up packaging so i will purchase these ones next time i'm out~ The new scents sounds yummy too! Thanks for sharing this~
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day~ ^^

I really need to get my hands on one of these as they are so raved about and lip balms are one of my most used products ever!
ReplyDeleteOoh, carmex has to be one of my most favourite lip balms, so this is exciting! Pomegranate sounds lovely xo
ReplyDeleteI JUST recently purchased my first Carmex product (the original one in a squeeze tube) and I love it! It took a long while for it to be sold in Canada so I'm thinking it might take some time for these cool products to be popping up in shelves here!
