I have lost count of just how often I have harped on about Carmex, I adore the little yellow tins of waxy lip balm and I am seldom without at least one jar or tube.
If like myself you are more than partial to a lip butter or two you will want to try out Carmex's Moisture Plus Lip Balms which now come in four shades!
The newest shade on the block in the Carmex Moisture Plus is Berry which is a slightly red tinged berry shade with a yellow undertone, in my opinion it is more of a natural red shade rather than a berry tone.
If you adore red lips but perhaps find full red lipstick a little too much for everyday wear this is a wonderful alternative not to mention it is a great introductory red for those like myself who tend to stick to neutrals.
On the lips it feels, light hydrating and slightly cooling with a high sheen finish.
My only problem with the berry shade is that it seems to settle into the natural outline of my lips and the end result is it looks like I have lip liner on which truthfully I'm not the biggest fan of - the overall look not lip liner that is.
Do you see what I mean about the liner effect?
What sets the Carmex Moisture Plus range aside from other tinted lip balms is that not only do they offer a decent level of pigmentation but they boast all the benefits of your typical Carmex lip balm - "It Soothes, It Heals, It Protects" what's not to love?
Well one element may be the scent is as it is some what sweet and vanilla based, I wouldn't deem it to be sickly sweet but it is most certainly detectable. The other aspect is that they do melt pretty easily which doesn't bode well in the heat but other than that I have no complaints.

This actually looks like a really lovely colour. I've never tried anything Carmex before(!), but this might have to be my first purchase!

Looks good minus the lip liner, I think I prefer the normal carmex in a pot still. Great review through!
