One thing I have come to enjoy about the start of the year is all the new beauty launches!
Yes it is a busy time of the year for us beauty types but it takes my mind of the fact that Christmas has been and gone yet there is still a good few months of winter left...gulp!
Needless to say I have found a good few new favourite products over the last few weeks
so without further ado...
January has been the month of lip products for me and I can not compose a favourites post without the inclusion of Rimmel Apocalips which are slowly but surely taking over the beauty world, one make-up bag at a time.
My favourite shade is Luna which I have left in the car and as it is bucketing down with rain outside Celestial shall accept the award in its place!
In all seriousness though Rimmel Apocalips provide full opaque glossy coverage in an array of beautiful colours that does make them hard to resist.
My other must have lip products include Clarins Rouge Eclat Lipstick in Nude Rose which is not only the perfect nude shade but it boasts the most silky, hydrating lipstick formula I have encountered.
Another new kid on the block is the Bourjois Rouge Edition lipstick collection which is an extensive line of velvety smooth lip colours that wear exceptionally well without drying out the lips.
My pick is the bright coral pink that is Fraise Remix...trust me it will be on your lips this summer!
I think we all know that I am a little obsessed with products that help promote sleep and relaxation
at the moment that has permanent residence on my bed side table is Sanctuary's 4 in 1 Restoring Elixir.
I wouldn't say it is the best sleep aimed product out there but it does help to relax me and it smells out of this world - almost masculine and dare I say it kinda sexy!
Speaking of scents last month I wore Juicy Couture's Viva La Juicy La Fleur almost everyday.
If bright, light sparkling floral scents are your poison then you will more than likely enjoy this.
I do need to look into purchasing a smaller bottle as the 75ml size is so bulky and not exactly handbag friendly.
I can not express just how wonderful Healgel Intense really is.
When I read about quick fixes and miracle products I am the first to dismiss them
but this light serum instantly sorts out any break outs in lightening speed time without drying out the skin.
Honestly it is one of the products that seeing is believing but I can hand on heart say that now I have discovered its magic I will not be without it!
Last but in no means least is La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 which is a complete winter skin savior.
This light lotion acts as a barrier on chapped skin preventing further irritation, it soothes any broken skin
and is a complete wonder on those pesky hair tool related burns...I know I'm not alone there!
Honorable Mentions:
MAC Stereo Rose MSF - I was so glad to see it re-promoted.
Models Own Dancing Queen Nail Polish - Who doesn't love a good glitter polish?
NARS Casino Bronzer - The perfect contour shade for medium skinned ladies.
The La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 looks awesome! I hope I can try that out soon! :D Lovely post!
