2013 looks set to be a very exciting year for cosmetics,
we are only into the very first days of January and already there is news of countless new additions
to the beauty world for us to add to that already mile long wish list.
Pennies at the ready!
1, Keep an eye out for a few new Philosophy products in 2013 including the oil free skin care range Clear Days Ahead which is aimed at oily/blemish prone skin types.
Later this month also sees the launch of a new duo ended serum - Full of Promise
and a new bath and body scent for Valentine's Day - Vanilla Cream Topping.
2, Already launched in the US is the Rimmel Scandal Eyes Eyeshadow sticks which come in a huge array of colours and will hopefully live up to their eyeliner counterparts.
No exact UK release date as of yet but it is safe to say I am rather excited about this launch.
3, It looks like 2013 and most likely the Spring will see the addition of some new shades to the Maybelline Color Tattoo range, I'm not all that excited about this as I don't use my current ones nearly enough but I'm sure many will disagree and snap up any new shades instantly.
4, Dr Jart + looks to expand their ever growing empire with a gel based BB Cream which looks to be the longer and lighter version of their already highly successful Water Fuse BB Cream.
Very exciting indeed!
5, Urban Decay have been very busy bees with a whole slew of new products on their way to UK shores, the new BB Cream has been getting rave reviews state side
but is it is too late for Urban Decay to finally hop on the BB train?
Unsurprisingly this bears the Naked tag, which I'm finding a little over used truth be told.
6, On the horizon from Revlon looks to be various cheek palettes
which hold all you need to create a perfect sculpted cheek look.
Inside each palette which will be available in a good few shades is a blush,
highlight and bronzer all perfectly co-ordinated for ease of use.
7, Out of all I have featured today it is safe to say that I most excited about Rimmel's Apocaplips which are lip lacquers - a mix of gloss and lipstick, set to launch the 23rd of this month.
The lovely Yinka has a review and swatches here -link
I want them all!
8, Urban Decay's setting sprays not only get a make over for 2013 (how fab do the new bottles look) but a new spray dubbed the Chill will be joining the ranks early this year.
Chill is a cooling and hydrating spray which sounds ideal for warm climates
so undoubtedly it will become a summer staple for many!
9, For all those NARS addicts out there February sees the launch of the Spring 2013 collection
which is a little bright for my taste but the nail polish looks rather interesting!
What are you excited about most?
:O I love the look of all of these! I love your soon to be released product posts!

ReplyDeleteThe Nars collection looks amazing, the blush and the blue/green duo are stunning.
ReplyDeletethe apocalips look amazing, and I haven't tried a urban decay setting spray but "chill" does sounds nice-if the UK gets a summer that is, and the revlon cheek patterns look good too..looks like it could be a good year for releases :') x
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to get my hands on the Apocalips. Even though I'd love to get my first NARS product I think it's a little out of my budget for now.
ReplyDeleteOh my, they look amazing!
ReplyDeleteOoo I'm so excited about the Rimmel Apocolips.
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to try out a true red for the longest time but have been put off buying any high end lipsticks as I'm not sure if I would wear it enough.
Very excited about Big Bang. As for the others - I'm hoping rimmel have some offer on so I can buy the others!
Xxxx
I love the color tattoo eye shadows. They are really some of the best cream shadows I've ever used.
ReplyDeleteThe apocalips lip lacquers for sure!
ReplyDeleteVery exciting! The Rimmel Scandal Eyes Eyeshadow sticks and the Revlon face palette look great :)

ReplyDeleteI love the look of the Revlon compact, here's hoping the colors are wearable because would be so great to carry that rather than separate blusher, bronzer and highlighter!
