With the recent cold snap I have had various friends and family members beg me for a solution
to cold, dry, irritated skin and chilblains and the product I have been sending them to Boots to pick up
is of course La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5.

Cicaplast Baume B5 is a multi-purpose repairing balm that soothes, protects and repairs any skin type including sensitive or irritated skin, when they say it is Suitable for the whole family they weren't kidding with a formula so gentle it can be used on children and babies delicate skins.
It can be also be used on all kinds of everyday skin irritations and minor injuries so a great all round product for the bathroom cabinet wouldn't you agree?

So what can you use  La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 for?
Chapped lips as well as dry and/or cracked skin, it also quickly comforts any skin tightness
that more often than not comes hand in hand with sun burn!
You can also use it to help heal minor everyday injuries such as grazes, burns and it makes a great after sun to boot!
All the mummies out their can use this on their babies in a whole manner of ways but I have it from a reliable source that it makes for a fantastic nappy rash cream, now you can treat yourself and the baby!
My friend who has eczema and dry skin on her face swears by this as her daily moisturiser,
reporting that it calms any flair ups and keeps flaky, dry skin at bay.

La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 is a rich, nourishing balm which is non-perfumed, paraben-free and lanolin-free and unlike all the other multi-purpose balms such as Rodial's Glam Balm and Elizabeth Arden's 8 Hour Cream this doesn't have a thick, waxy typical balm texture which I know many loathe this is more akin in texture with a rich body lotion meaning you get all the benefits minus any sticky/tacky sensation.
Put it is this way I'm more keen to slap this on my face than the 8 Hour Cream which feels more at home on my lips, as a heads up a little goes a long, long way with this balm.
I've heard many like to use this as a richly moisturising face mask for long haul flights so i'll have to remember to pack this into my hand luggage for my trip to the states!

Holy grail product in the making?
I think so!
