I am partial to the odd dry or chapped area on my lips, mainly my bottom lip
and this is usually my own fault as I do lick and bite my lips...not suggestively more as a nervous habit!
However this year my lips have been particularly weather beaten and my usual quick dab of Carmex
simply isn't cutting it anymore so I have retorted to something a lot thicker and not my usual reaching
in the form of Elizabeth Arden's Eight Hour Cream Protectant Lip Gloss.

Within the beauty community it seems Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream divides most,
it has it's legions of loyal fans yet there is others that simply can not get to grips with the medicinal scent
and super thick balm like texture.
That aside I do rather rate Elizabeth Arden's Eight Hour Cream Protectant Lip Gloss unlike the
original formula this is lighter and non sticky despite being a lip gloss, it is light, super hydrating
and has the perfect texture not too thick not too thin.
The squeeze tube with the angled soft plastic applicator makes application a breeze - no mess , no fuss
just a dose of comfort, hydration with a glossy finish.

Despite being marketed as a lip gloss I deem this to be a lip balm and a healing one at that,
not only will  Elizabeth Arden's Eight Hour Cream Protectant Lip Gloss give the lips extra moisture
but it will help to heal and soothe any irritated or chapped areas.
Trust me this may be the product that changes your thoughts towards Elizabeth Arden's Eight Hour Cream
forever and is a complete winter must have for anyone who suffers from chapped lips.
