As you may know the glamour puss that is Dita Von Teese has once again teamed up
with the cosmetic brand Artdeco to produce a collection for Fall/Autumn 2012
and as you'd imagine there is plenty of berry shades to be had as well as a signature red or two,
it really is a beautiful collection that has something for everyone.
Artdeco Dita Von Teese Art Couture Lipstick in Black Daylia £17.50* - link
Inside a black metal case which feels luxurious and retro which totally personifies Dita Von Teese's style,
you will find a creamy, deep red almost plum lipstick that has been stamped with Art Deco's logo
for a high end touch.
Black Daylia is a vampy, deep shade that is semi matte but creamy in texture so it is comfortable to wear
with great lasting power but I do recommend using a lip liner with such a deep shade as it may bleed
or feather throughout the day which is never a good look.
As it is so well pigmented it suitable for all skin tones and is one of those rare shades that looks great
on everyone, light to deep skin tones, old and young.
If you are looking for a sexy but easy to wear shade this is, you can't help but feel a million dollars
when you slick it on, it is old school Hollywood Glamour in a tube.
Artdeco Dita Von Teese Illuminating Baked Powder £30* - link
Hands up who was sorely disappointed with the re-releases of MAC Lightscapade MSF?
I know I was but Artdeco Dita Von Teese Illuminating Baked Powder is all I wanted from Lightscapade
and more encased within the cutest black compact complete with an illustration of Dita.
Artdeco Dita Von Teese Illuminating Baked Powder is the most beautiful baked powder product
to look at in pan form, a light yellow base that is swirled with pastel shades of blue, pink and gold.
When swirled together it forms a bright light gold shimmer shade that is very akin to NARS Albatross
highlighter without the gritty glitter.
Yes in my swatch it looks a little stark but this sue to it not being blended out, once blended it forms a light cast of yellow gold that catches the light and provides a sheer wash of luminosity to the skin.
As it has no glitter this formula is perfect for those like myself who have enlarged pores as it does not
emphasizes them but brightens and perks up the skin.
In terms of wear this when primed wore on my oily skin for close to 8 hours.
