This weekend I am away from home staying at a family members house
so I decided to take along with me some new bits and pieces by Elemis Spa at Home range to test out,
I couldn't pass up the chance of a hot bath after years of only having a shower!

Speaking of baths I have a skin nourishing bath milk to put to the test,
this promises to soften and ease dry skin conditions, scent wise it is hard to pin point
but it smells natural, nourishing and like it would be good for you...if that at all makes sense?

Even if I have a bath I have to shower off before I get out, someone once described
sitting in a bath as akin to stewing in your own filth, that image has always haunted me
so my need to cleanse after a bath is hopefully slightly understandable?

Anyway this gives me the perfect chance to trial Elemis's Lime and Ginger Hand and Body Wash.
The fragrance of this is simply divine and so fitting for the cooler months, it has the richness and warmth
of Ginger yet is cut with lime for a little zest which prevents the scent becoming too heavy.
I also have the matching body and hand lotion to slather on once dry, I do enjoy layering a scent.

A first for me is Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel which is not only anti-ageing but aims to remove dry and dead
skin revealing brighter, fresh skin underneath without the need of scrubing.
Essentially you apply this like a facial mask, sit back for 10 minutes and rinse clean,
concept wise I am intrigued as I'm not the biggest fan of facial exfoliants but I am a little worried this may
be too harsh...only time will tell.

Sadly no candle or wax tart this week as I forgot to pack one!

Are you having a little pampering session this week?
