I'm no stranger to dark circles but the problem with attempting to mask them is that many
concealers can be rather thick in texture, uncomfortable to wear not to mention the eye area is the one place concealer has a tendency to crease and settle into fine lines.
If this sounds familiar then read on as I may have found the answer to your under eye concealer woes!
"This anti-ageing concealer with Anogeissus helps cover dark circles plus reduces the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and flaws instantly. And the creamy coverage effortlessly floats over skin without creasing, caking or sticking. Long-wearing.Ophthalmologist tested."
Origins Plantscription Anti-Ageing Concealer is a light, finely textured liquid concealer that is slightly creamy
and hydrating once on the skin so it does not cling to dry areas or settle into fine lines and open pores.
On the website some have claimed that it visual reduces the appearance of wrinkles etc, I'm not
quite at the stage in my life but what I can say is that it covers and conceals any signs of dark circles.
Origins Plantscription Anti-Ageing Concealer doesn't tend to crease nor does it feel heavy on the delicate eye area all the while brightening and lasting a good 8 hours on my oily skin type.
To apply I simply dab on using the doe foot applicator then blend out using a small concealer brush,
to prolong wear one I have applied my foundation on top I do set with a light veil of loose powder.
The shade I have been testing is a smidgen too light for my skin tone but I have included reference photos
of just how well it covers my mole.
You of course can also use this concealer for blemishes or other skin imperfections such as redness
but for me this is the ideal under eye concealer and as it is aimed at being anti-ageing it is great for
not only concealing but preventing future skin damage and signs of ageing.

One of the best options for my very dark circles is Bobbi Brown's Corrector. It is the only thing that I have found that works on very dark under eye circles. I have tried almost every concealer sold in Sephora and this one is 5 stars.
ReplyDeleteReally want to try this concealer! Need one that is creamy but not cakey undereye so this sounds perfect :) x

Im on the hunt for my HG concealer as I struggle with dark circles and bags :( Would you recommend the usual "two shades lighter" with this one? It does sound great!
ReplyDeleteYewizzy @ She Loves The Finer Things
Yes I'd go two shades lighter :)
DeleteIt's perfect for that, my eyes have never looked better :)

I'm happy with the black eye pencil I have ;)
ReplyDeleteThis sounds good and is quite a bit cheaper than I expected - I'm so lazy that I just slap foundation on in an attempt to cut corners but this might well be worth a try... Clinique are launching a new dark circles concealer so I'll test both and decide! Xxx
