I feel like I have finally cracked the Shopping the Stash code!
It turns out less is more and overwhelming myself with countless products that "I must"
somehow incorporate into my weekly routine was never going to work.
So this week I have stripped it back to six items - two per category
and feel more upbeat about actually making a dent in my stash/choices.
Face
The Body Shop BB Cream - I have to be truthful and say that I am not the biggest fan of this product
but I figure it might work well as a base or perhaps mixed in with other foundations?
Either way I intend on making this work for me!
Famous by Sue Moxley Baked Bronzer in Tahiti - I'm giving liquid highlighters the cold shoulder this week
in favour of this pretty baked product, technically it is a bronzer of sorts but as it has a high frost finish
I prefer to buff it well into the skin and use it as a glowy highlight option.
Eyes
Bourjois Black Jack Clubbing Mascara - I do find this to be a little dry in formula with a tendency
to flake and smear but there is no denying that it gives a whole lot of length and volume to lashes.
I'm hoping that perhaps paired with a waterproof mascara the smudging element may be eliminated.
NARS Galapagos Eyeshadow - The problem with having numerous neutral eyeshadows and palettes
is that sooner or later you will over look shades and end up stuck in a rut...I know I am.
I can not believe I have been neglecting this beautiful chocolate brown with golden accents shade
and plan to attempt to use it daily which is a pretty big feat for someone like myself who isn't the biggest
eyeshadow fan!
Lips
Sleek Make-Up Pout Paint in Peachy Keen - In the coming week I have a few meetings which
are pretty length and mean I can't just whip out my lipstick and reapply when I wish
so for this very reason I have included a Pout Paint, the colour stays in place for pretty much up to five hours
without drying out my lips or budging while I eat or drink.
I really should invest in a few OCC lip tars shouldn't I?
Mememe Light Me Up Lip Gloss - Truthfully I have only included this as it works so well over the Pout Paint above and adds a little kick of moisture not to mention shine.
So that is my choices for the week ahead, have you shopped your stash recently?
great post!
