I have saved what I deem the best product from the Clarins Autumn collection
until last...i'm such a tease.
Clarins never disappoint with their face powders, each season normally sees the addition
of a specially designed face product and with the Autumn collective it is the swoon worthy
Colour Accents Face and Blusher Powder Palette.

As with every Clarins product I have ever encountered this comes presented within
a beautiful golden chrome case that is a magent for fingerprints but just so fabulous that
we can over look that tiny element.
My absolute favourite thing about Clarins facial powders is the sweet little red pouch that
they come presented with - I affectionately call it my products pyjamas haha!

"A soft, ultra-fine powder that will beautifully enhance the complexion.
A comfortable, light texture that smoothes the skin leaving it looking even and radiant.
Suitable for all skin tones."

I'm sure I am not alone in saying that the print of the palette reminds me of Burberry tartan/plaid?
The palette is constructed of various blocks and stripes of various shades of neutrals
with a little flash of pink .
Truthfully the segments that construct the palette are a little too small to be used as individual shades
but you could use the large mid segment (light tan_ on it's own with a small blush brush.
When the shades are swirled together they form a mid tan shade that will be a blush/bronzer
on light to light medium skin tones but on medium to dark skin tones this will be an illuminating
face setting powder.
As it is matte you can also use it to contour!

Please note this is a heavy swatch as it does not show up other wise.

Okay this doesn't really add much colour to my skin tone but it does set make-up beautifully
and is light, comfortable to wear and most importantly keeps my skin matte.
I think as the winter sets in and I become paler this will be used as a light, subtle bronzer
to warm my skin without looking orange or over the top in 6 inches of snow haha!
Clarins Colour Accents Face & Blush Powder is soft to the touch and is easily picked up
with any powder brush, you can layer it on without it caking for extra colour depth
and you will be pleased to know that it does not settle into pores nor does it cling to dry skin.
In terms of wear I find it to last around 6 hours before requiring a little touch up.
