Today I have another blogger sharing the contents of her make-up,
this week we have Sandra who runs the Black Pearl Blog - link
so without further ado I shall leave you to have a nosey through another of one of my favourite
bloggers make-up bags!
My make-up bag is usually full of the most random products. I am a busy mum and don't go out often, but when I do, I make sure I have everything I need with me, from foundation to mascara.
I will have it all, just in case my baby boy pokes my eye and ruins my make-up...it happens quite often!
Here are the contents of my "on the go make-up bag" with my current favourites:
The make-up bag itself is an old LV Eva clutch bag. I bought it without thinking how it is going to look on me. Because I am a bigger lady, I looked ridiculous with this tiny little bag on my shoulder, so I found a new purpose for it !
FACE:
I like to invest in good foundations and Lancome Teint Miracle is my old time favourite. This is my 10th bottle and I absolutely love it. It gives great coverage but looks natural and feels light on my skin.
For the powder I would normally use Liz Earle Natural Finish Loose Powder
but on the go I like something smaller, so I use Bourjois Healthy Balance Powder.
Another important thing is concealer- I use Liz Earle Perfect Fix Concealer which works really well and covers all imperfections and dark circles.
Another Liz Earle product in my make-up bag is the Natural Glow Bronzer.
It is such a beautiful and delicate shade! It is impossible to overdo and adds a gorgeous glow to my face.
For the foundation and powder I use the Real Techniques buffing brush (my holy grail make-up brush) and to apply the bronzer and blushers I use an Eco Tools Powder Brush.
CHEEKS:
I love blushers and I tend to wear far too much colour on my cheeks.
This summer I am loving Liz Earle Healthy Glow Powder Blush in Nectar.
It doesn't have shimmer, so I apply a little bit of NARS Orgasm on top of it to make it my dream shade.
I love this combination and I wear it nearly every day.
EYES:
Eye makeup is the most important part for me.
Most of the time I reach for neutral shades, so Naked or Naked 2 are always a perfect choice,
I have found myself using Naked 2 more often though.
One product I can't live without is the Bourjois Liner Pinceau Liquid liner and I have it in my make-up bag at all times. I always use a black pencil for my waterline and I grab whatever one I find first.
To finish the eye make-up I use Liz Earle Lash Definition Smudgeproof mascara.
It doesn't give a lot of volume, but it is perfect for adding a bit of length and definition and it stays on my lashes all day without flaking and smudging.
The last thing I always have in my make-up bag is a cuticle butter. I am currently loving Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream and the travel size is perfect to carry with me at all times.
That's it! Nothing crazy, just basic products to make me look better.
What are the contents of your make-up bag? Is there one product you cannot live without?
Mine is definitely the Bourjois liquid liner.
I think what Sandra has done is so clever - using an old clutch as a make-up bag is something I never would have thought to do nor would I have teamed up the two blushes that she has but I think I might give it a go and I know that Burts Bee Cuticle Balm is on my shopping list now!
Sandra has such a lovely blog (she is equally if not more lovely too) and she does such beautiful nail posts,
which you can read all about here - link
I LOVE SANDRA, yaya, cutee makeup bag you have going on :)

Such a fun post, really enjoyed reading it. I tend to think, if a product is being used over and over again by some one.. then it's a product worth to try :)
