Since growing out my fringe/bangs I have had to pay more attention to my eye brows
which naturally aren't too bad but like most people's they do require a little work.
I have to be honest in saying it is one of my least favourite things to do,
i'm always scared I will over puck or over fill my brows but they good news is that lots of
brands on the high street have launched great little kits to help make perfect brows that little easier.
One such addition is that by FashionistA, their Style Brow kit contains everything you could possible
need to shape and shade your brows into tip top shape presented within a small black compact
that is prefect for on the go touch ups!
The Style Brow kit contains three brown shades - light, mid and dark,
a pan of wax to shape the brows and set any powder applied, a small slanted set of tweezers
and a small angled brush, the compact also has a large mirror housed inside.
The tweezers are pretty sharp and of good quality especially if it is just for the odd stray hair now and then,
the brush is not the best but is adequate enough for touching up on the go.
The idea is that you can use the three shades alone on your brows if the shade is fitting
or you can blend a combination of the shades to create your prefect tone.
Truthfully most will be able to use the shades provided but it does slightly alienate those who have
really fair brows or those who's brows borderline black but other than that it is fairly universal.
You can also use the powder products as eyeshadows or eye liners.
Each shade is finely milled with great colour pay off and very little product fall out,
they stay on my brows pretty much all day (at least 7 hours) without requiring a touch up
and the wax is soft, easy to apply and is great for taming any stray hairs as well as keeping
any powder product firmly in place.
All in all a really great affordable eye brow kit!

Love this - I got the elf Eyebrow Kit recently but was quite disappointed because I didn't like the texture of the wax, I prefer powders, so this one looks like it would be right up my street lol! Mary x

I really need to pick up some elf products! Yes the wax is a great addition :)
DeleteI love this, i currently use the Sleek one, but this looks better because of the different shades all in one compact! I'm definitely getting this!

looks like a cheaper HD brows- the gel is a good addition though!
ReplyDeleteAgreed, I also like the fact you get little tweezers :)
DeleteLove the look of this, I'm really loving the Sleek one at the moment as well, but a non-coloured gel looks fab!

It's really good for the price :)
DeleteThis sounds great! I've nearly come to the end of my Sleek brow kit so I may have to give this a try :) x
ReplyDeleteYes do it :) it's nice to try something new!
DeleteThis looks good! I currently use the HD Brows kit, but this looks relatively similar and at a much more affordable price! x
ReplyDeleteAgreed and slightly easier to source :)
DeleteI've got the HD Brows kit which I was infatuated with until I saw/read this. The wax is such a nifty idea and how great to have a pair of tweezers in the palette too. It is a shame it doesn't cater for fairer haired lovelies but this would suit me perfectly!

I love the HD brows kits but wish they contained a wax and like you said tweezers so this is much more user friendly :) yeah I agree but used lightly I think the palest shade would be okay :)
DeleteI always find that these kits require a lot of work, I only use these when I am going out, I tend to prefer a quick pencil on a daily basis. This looks good though, the one I have has a coloured wax and one powder - the three powder is a great idea, but they should have a blonde, brown and dark brown kit

That's why I miss my fringe haha :) yes I agree shade options would have been better. Who knows they could be in the pipe line :)
DeleteI should really get one of these and actually learn how to use it ;)
ReplyDeleteHaha I'm the same my brow skills suck!
DeleteWow, it looks a lot like BeneFit's Brow Zings, right down to the packaging, but a lot cheaper. I will definitely be checking this out. Thank you for the heads up :) xx
