it gives the impression of groomed nails/hands and pretty much matches every outfit.
Truthfully I blame the Kardashians for my love affair with square nails and light pink polishes
for a good few years now I have been searching for my perfect nude pink polish
and have finally found it in Essie Muchi Muchi!
Essie Muchi Muchi is a light warm toned pastel pink that is crème in formula,
admittedly it is not the most opaque of polishes but it does build up wonderfully
without streaking or taking forever and a day to dry.
I have to admit that I am still struggling with the fan style brush,
my nails are a little narrow and I do tend to make a mess...oops!
One coat gives a sheer wash of pink that looks natural but does tone down the natural nail shade,
two coats gives the nails a pretty pink finish but the nail line is still visible and three coats gives
an almost opaque finish.
As the polish is crème in formula regardless of how many coats you apply the result is always
of a high sheen finish.
Essie Muchi Muchi is part of the diffusion line and is available from both Boots and Superdrug stores
for £7.99/13.5ml - link
Nail Polish Disclaimer - I no longer comment on the wear time as we all apply polishes differently (top/base coats etc) and as I change my polish almost daily sometimes several times a day due to swatching purposes I do not feel that I can fairly comment on wear time

I'm glad you agree :)
DeleteI actually don't like this, it's too wishy-washy!

Ah never mind :) hopefully one of the other pink shades I have lined up will be more you.
DeleteI don't think I like it either, I've got the Essie Ballet slippers which I use for manicures and is a paler pink. I'm not sure I like this pink. Good review though!

Not to worry we can't like them all :) I didn't get on with Ballet Slippers funnily enough, it doesn't sit right with my skin tone which is annoying as it is such a pretty shade.
DeleteI use ballet slippers for my nude/ tinge of pink. It looks so natural and classy. I too blame the Kardashians for my love of nude polishes!
ReplyDeleteHaha damn those ladies!
DeleteI like the colour, its a lovely shade of milky pink, but I have a pet peeve about nail polish that doesn't go 100% opaque. For some reason it just annoys me if I can see the nail line through my nail polish.

Ah i'm a little like that with some polishes but pastels don't bother me quite so much...reds now that is another story haha!
DeleteI've recently started a bit of a love affair with Essie and this might go on my list! Your nails are lovely too :) x

Aww thank you and good luck with the love affair it will blow into an obsession very quickly...trust me haha :)
DeleteI think it's not so good... Its lack of coverage makes it very difficult to achieve a good looking nails. Not so good for the brand, I think :S
ReplyDeleteEssie polishes can be a little hit and miss so I know exactly what you mean, I like this one but totally get that it's not to everyone's taste :)
DeleteYou have beautiful nails! xo
ReplyDeleteA beautiful every day colour for the summer. And it looks like you get good coverage from this without too many coats.
ReplyDeleteLove this pink too x gorgeous nails x
ReplyDeleteI love this colour, never tried Essie nail polishes before but I think I might give them a go :)
