Today we have another favourite blogger of mine sharing her daily make-up bag contents,
I'm a massive fan of Holly's clean and wonderfully written blog.
Be sure to check it out for well written in-depth reviews - link.

Considering I'm a makeup and beauty fanatic I have a really simple and basic makeup bag. This is for 2 reasons: it's important to me to have a makeup bag I can simply wipe clean and I don't want to fork out on a pricey makeup bag that will probably get a little tatty and dirty from travelling and continued use! My makeup bag is a Travel Wash Bag from Dirty Works, it's bright candy pink so I can always find it in my handbag if I'm on-the-go and its big enough for me to fit everything I may need inside.

The contents of my makeup bag are constantly changing depending on the season, weather and the condition of my skin. I keep my everyday bare essentials inside but try to switch it up with a little luxury or something special every now and then. You may wonder where my makeup brushes are - I them in a separate bag or brush roll away from my makeup to avoid dirtying my bag and cross-contamination of bacteria!
Right now I'm making the most of the weather so keeping my makeup natural, bright and fresh.

FACE

Yves Saint Laurent Le Teint Touche Éclat Foundation - One of the most anticipated foundations of the season was the YSL Touche Éclat Foundation and it lived up to my expectations entirely. It provides medium coverage and leaves my skin looking fresh and glowy all day without the need to reapply.

Liz Earle Perfect Fix Concealer - This is my secret multi-use product, not only is it perfect for covering blemishes with it's creamy but not cakey texture but it brightens up my eyes on an early morning beautifully. I dot it underneath my eyes and simply pat for a brightening and awakening effect or smooth it across blemishes with a concealer brush.

Liz Earle Natural Glow Bronzer - While the weather is warm I shall make the most of it but my skin is really lacking in colour! I like to buff a thin veil of bronzer over my whole face for a healthy glow and then apply a little more on my cheeks for light contouring. Liz Earle Natural Glow Bronzer is perfect because it gives my skin a gentle kiss of colour without leaving me looking muddy or uber-bronzed, it's just right and can be built for a fuller effect.

Inika Mineral Blush 'Peachy Keen' - I love a peach blush and here is yet another secret 2 in 1 of mine. 'Peachy Keen' is a really brightening peach shade which acts as a 2 in 1 highlighter and blusher, the colour can be built for a pop of colour or gentle glow. I love applying this to the apples of my cheeks over my bronzer. What's great about Inika is their really strong values, they refuse to use any harmful chemicals or ingredients in their products, which are mostly natural and all vegan, organic and halal approved.

EYES

MAC Brow Set - I have really unruly eyebrows so use a brow gel to neatly comb them into place and set them all day. It's great for combing back flyways when my hair is tied back too!

Smooch Cosmetics Liquid Eyeliner - Liquid Liner really opens up the eyes, I recently discovered Smooch Cosmetics and love their pretty packaging and good quality products. The Liquid Eyeliner stays in place all day and is really easy to apply. Sometimes I apply kohl liner too but while the weather is warmer I find it slips a little so I'm sticking with just liquid liner right now!

BareMinerals Flawless Definition Curl & Lengthen Mascara - You wouldn't think to turn to BareMinerals for mascara but their range of mascaras is amazing! I love the Curl & Lengthen Mascara because it not only does what it says on the packaging but also separates my lashes and adds a little volume. It doesn't flake or fade and leaves my lashes looking really fluttery, I just love it.

HD Brow Kit - My HD Brow Kit is well loved and for good reason; it doubles up as a brow-shader and eyeshadow palette and comes with a dinky brush for easy application. My palette is in shade 'Foxy' and comes with four miniature pans of colour for highlighting the brow bone and shading in the brow.

LIPS

GOSH Velvet Touch Lipstick 'Darling' - Velvet Touch lipsticks from GOSH have a really lustrous finish, they only last around 2 hours but have the most beautiful glossy finish - perfect for when I don't fancy wearing lipgloss. The shade is very similar to Fleshpot but it's more of a biscuity nude.

MAC Lipstick 'Fleshpot' - This is my staple lip colour, I always stock up on a couple of sticks when I go past a MAC Pro Store. Fleshpot is a really pale nude shade with baby pink undertones. It has a really drying formula unfortunately but the colour lasts around 4 hours.

EOS Lip Balm 'Summer Fruits' - EOS Lip Balms not only have a really unique design but come in a huge range of delicious flavours, they're all natural too and really nourishing for your lips. I find MAC Fleshpot has a really drying formula so like to apply a slick of this before and after application.

I hope you enjoyed snooping into Holly Arabella's make-up bag as much as I did?
I'm now going to give my pale nude lipsticks another go!
