Tainted Love

When it comes to fragrances I am definitely one who favours vanilla based scents
but as most tend to be fairly generic and better suited for day wear due to the sugary sweet notes,
I do often find myself longing for something a little more unique and dare I say it deeper!

Well long no more as I have found the perfect evening vanilla based scent
that is not only powerful and unique but pretty quirky too with a slight dark edge.
Up until now I had never heard of the brand Tokyomilk by Margot Elena but if you like
fragrances, candles and soap based products that are lesser known and slightly different to your typical high street finds then I can not recommend Tokyomilk enough.

Each product is beautifully packaged and has a slight devious edge.
With titles such as Tainted Love, Dead Sexy and Gin & Rosewater I can't help but feel that Tokyomilk has tapped into an almost Victorian Gothic feel that allows each product to become oddly sexy in a less than obvious way!

I settled on Tainted Love Eau de Parfum which has notes of Dark Vanilla Bean, Orchid, White Tea, Sandalwood that combine to provide a slightly musky vanilla scent that is powerful, alluring and perfect for evening wear. What I truly adore, concept aside is that Tainted Love smells like no other vanilla based scent I own or have tested in the past, it's sweet yet musky without being heedy or bordering on a masculine scent.

If you like deep, dark evening type scents and/or are looking to have something a little more unique
than what the current beauty counters offer I suggest discovering Tokyomilk as it will be exactly what you are looking for! I plan on purchasing La Vie La Mort next.

In the UK I highly recommend using Zalando to purchase Tokyomilk products as they are fairly
difficult to source - Tainted Love Eau de Parfum by Tokyomilk* £37/47ml - link
