For the last few months I have been giving you all a little sneak peek into my sample boxes
and following up with a review approximately a week later.
Well today is no different with Jolie Box's first birthday box landing on my doorstep this morning!
I'm sure many a blogger and Jolie Box consumer will agree that it does not feel like a year
has passed since it all began...time flies when your having fun I guess?
Anyway to celebrate turning the rip old age of one (I jest) the June edition boxes come specially prepared
in two limited edition boxes customized by up and coming designers OCH Studio and Mzelle Fraise respectfully not only is the box design a one off but this is the first edition with customizations
tailored to the customers needs in the form of skin care.
So what was inside my box:
- Elysmabre Lipstick - Unfortunately I have a deathly pale frosty shade but perhaps once tested it may not
be as terrible as I have anticipated! This is a full size product, looks can be deceiving!
- Institut Esthederm UV inCellium Spray - Not entirely sure what the purpose of this spray is?
- L'Occitane Angelica Hydration Cream - I'm rather excited to use this as I have tested a few products in the
Angelica range with wonderful results, I hope this is the case with this too!
- Yon-Ka Pamplemousse Protective and Vitalizing Cream, Normal to Oily Skin - This is the customised element to the box and again i'm looking forward to giving this a whirl.
- A mini Jolie Box Nail File - Not really all that much I can say on an emery board!

I can't imagine that lipstick shade being flattering on anyone! If you want to showcase a brand surely that's the last shade you'd include!x

Hope that helps! Box looks great!
Aww wow thank you so much that is beyond kind :) yes it does help as I initially thought it was a sunscreen...oops haha :) thanks again :)
DeleteI love the design of the box! I hope you enjoy your products, can't wait to hear the reviews! :)

I think the lipstick shade actually has the potential of being really nice if combined with the right skin tone. Looking forward to the reviews :)

I agree :) but sometimes you get a shade and know no matter what you do with it, it simply won't suit you and this falls into that catagory haha :)
DeleteThe lipstick is kinda scary, but I'm sure it's nice on top of another one. I bought a frosty white one this winter, and that's what I do!
ReplyDeleteThe Yonka cream seems interresting, keep us posted :)
I agree this really will have to be layered to be anywhere near flattering...will do lovely :)
DeleteSee I would love that shade as I am very pale but also have pink colouring so only pale pinks suit me. Not a bad box although not as good as I'd hope for my first Jolie Box.
ReplyDeleteAh yes with your colouring it would be lovely on my yellow skin not so much haha :) aww that sucks I hope the next one is more to your taste :)
DeleteOh, the box design is stunning! That's what beauty boxes should look like in my honest opinion. The contents seem alright, though I didn't know they made lipsticks like that one after 1988 and the nail file is equally rubbish. What is it with beauty boxes making their own merch and pretending it's a luxury beauty sample?? No one wants them!

Isn't it just, I hope more boxes comes as prettily designed as this one :) haha I actually "LOL'D" at your comment...so funny!
DeleteI love these boxes. If I was to try a box it would be this one but I am too stingy to try ahah. xxx
