All week on twitter (and in real life) I have been bemoaning the wet weather we have been tolerating lately,
of course there is far more important issues in the world but I can't help but feel a little down in the dumps
when it is mid June and I'm wearing fleecy pyjamas to bed not mention we have had the heating on all week!
So to escape what the press have been dubbing a monsoon (as a Scot I wouldn't go that far)
I have decided to inject a little tropical sunshine into my life in the form of make-up!

Face/Cheeks

Clinique Superbalanced Bronzer in Bronze 1
We simply can't have a summer theme and not include a bronzer, can we?
I really want to utilize my newest bronze addition and I am not going to lie it is partly due to the shaving aspect of this bronzer...it is oodles of fun!

Beautylush Co Loose Powder Blush in Madras
I figure this bright orange blush will compliment the bronzer above wonderfully,
if all goes to plan I will have a lovely bronzed glow with a little hint of colour to the apples of my cheeks.
Truthfully I don't tend to reach for loose pigment products as I find them messy
but I will make an exception for this blush shade as it is rather pretty.

Eyes

Look Beauty Eyeshadow Palette in La Luxe
One palette for the entire week however the shades work wonderfully well with the rosy bronze look I'm hoping to achieve this week coming, yes there is only three shades in the pan but they allow themselves to a whole slew of looks and work equally well worn alone or blended together.

Lips

Revlon Just Bitten Lip Balm Stain in Sweetheart
Definitely a week of pink lips ahead for me and for once I am going embrace it
and not cling to my coral lip products like I usually do.
I have admitted that I do not like these quite as much as the Clinique Chubby Sticks but for a long lasting
comfortable lip stain they are pretty much unbeatable,
I do apologise for teasing with a yet to be released product.

L'Oreal Miss Candy Lip Glosses in Bubble Pink and Tart Lollipop
Just how cute are these little glosses with the helter skelter effect of the two shades swirled together?
Luckily not only are the Miss Candy glosses visually stunning but they are wonderful to slick over a pink lip shade such as Sweetheart above to add extra shine and moisture or simply to wear alone.
