so i'm feeling pretty good about my reduced stash but it is still difficult to switch it up weekly
especially when you hold certain products in high regard but I am trying and this week i'm going
for a little colour in the form of eyeshadow which almost never happens as I am a neutral gal
through and through!
Eyes
The Body Shop Lily Cole Shimmer Cubes
This is such a pretty palette and the shades allow for night and day looks,
the great thing about these little cubes is that you can use them wet or dry
and pop them out to use individually.
L'Oreal Infallible Color Eyeshadow in Magentic Coral
I will be the first to say I think Coral is an odd shade for an eyeshadow
it is a shade I associate with lip products and blushes but I feel blended
with various golden hues this could be really pretty on the eyes.
If not i'll use it on my cheekbones.
Cheeks
Milani Baked Powder Blush in Luminoso
I keep dropping this blush when reaching for other items so I think that is it's way of telling me to use it,
it is very similar to Mac Stereo Rose but a little lighter to be honest I can't really wear this when tanned
as a blush as it looks a little stark but layered over another peachy blush it looks lovely as a highlight.
Lips
No7 Moisture Drench Lipstick in Romantic
This has been in a good few stash posts but something terrible always happens with this lipstick,
it goes into hiding be it at the bottom of a bag or behind my bed so I never get to use it as much
as I would like to, I promise i'm not as careless as I sound it's just this lipstick is sneaky as hell.
L'Oreal Color Riche Lipstick in Metallic Coral
This is a bright red based coral that has a frost finish and on paper not a shade I thought i'd ever reach for,
personally I don't like frost finishes when it comes to lipsticks but this I like.
It's a great option for wearing at night and works really well with bronze make-up.
So that is my small stash for the week that I hope to rotate in with some regulars,
have you shopped your stash recently?
That L'oreal infallible is such a gorgeous, unusual colour! xx
ReplyDeleteMake sure to let us know how the coral eyeshadow turns out, I'd love to try it sometime!
ReplyDeleteI too dislike frost finishes but that colour does look lovely! I'm also a fan of the baked blush, it really does look a bit like Stereo Rose.
ReplyDeleteThe body shop eyeshadows are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThey last forever as well!!

The blush is a gorgeous colour :) hope you get some use out of it xxx
ReplyDeleteI'm an eyeshadowy lady, you know XD
ReplyDeleteI use nearly every color, except acid or "baby" ones and blue (I only use very dark blues) and the colors that suit me most are coral, oranges, copper and red toned... How can people be sooooo different :)
On my lips, light coral and peaches look awful as I have natural coloured lips and that colous don't suit my skin at all, but only on the lips!! On my cheeks and my green-honey-changing eyes they're soooo pretty :O
All these products i personally love, especially the lilly cole shimmer eyeshadow cubes. I was really tempted when i shopped at the body shop the other day because the consistency was just so velvety and pigmented! And the L'Oreal Infallible Color Eyeshadow in Magentic Coral is a newly item that has been added to my wishlist which i need to get soon because the colour is gorgeous for the summer when i finally catch some sort of tan! Thanks for sharing~x
