Over the last few days I have been reviewing My Face Cosmetics Silk Screen Duo's
which are bright and very colourful but if like myself you don't tend to favour bold colour
you may want to investigate the Italian Ice collection by My Face Cosmetics
which offer lighter splashes of colour but are as equally beautiful.
Each of the My Face Cosmetics Duo's come presented in compact transparent cases
that are the perfect size for popping in a bag to travel with, although compact in form the actual eyeshadows
are a decent size and feature a small natural fibre brush that isn't ideal for all over washes of colour but does
work well if you plan on using any of the shades as eye liners.
As the cases are transparent you can easily view the shades contained within, you may want to hold onto the cute paper sleeve that each duo is nestled inside as the illustration on the front shows how to wear the shades creatively, great if you are lacking a little inspiration from time to time
The Amalfi duo features a bright aqua shade and a multi-tonal brown hue.
The brown option reminds me of Mac Club not so much in colour but they both reflect a whole array of shades
and will show up differently on each skin tone.
The aqua shade is a lovely mix of blue and green more the former rather than the latter,
it works well blended with the bronze and also blended along the lower lash line.
Both shades in the Amalfi palette are really well formulated and well pigmented, both have a lovely firm texture that picks up well on a brush and has next to none fall product fall out.
Both shades feature shimmer particles that are fine and do not irritate the delicate eye area nor does it go everywhere resulting in shimmery cheeks as well as eyes!
You can used the shadows as individual shades, blended togther or wet them to use as eyeliners.
For the best wear time possible I do recommend using a primer each shade, without a primer I found the wear time to be around 5 hours and with closer to 8 to the hour mark.
Product Summary
Round Up - A compact duo of muted but summer appropriate shades.
Best For - A quick flash of summer colour on the eyes.
Pigmentation - (9/10) Both shades are really well pigmented.
