On Friday (June 1st) Clinique unveiled eight new shades of their famous Chubby Sticks
and to celebrate they have launched an online tool that allows you to mix and match
all of the shades using a stimulator to create a custom lip shade and kiss
that you can send to someone special... it is pretty fun!
You can try it out here - link.

Clinique Chubby Sticks are essentially chunky crayons of tinted lip balm, that moisturise
and norish the lips due to a blend of oils, butters and antioxidants such as Shea Butter.
Everything about the Clinique Chubby Sticks is convenient particularly if you are partial to tinted lip balms,
the pencil/crayon design means gone are the days when you had to apply with your fingers,
the pencil concept also means you apply with precision and as the bottom turns up
there is no need to sharpen, resulting in time and product saved!

Clinique Mega Melon is a reddish brown shade with a yellow undertone
it is fairly neutral in tone should it shouldn't pose problematic for the majority.
This is one of the better pigmented shades in the range
and in my opinion is a  my lips but better type of shade.
It reminds me of a slightly lighter Mac See Sheer.

There's not too much I can really say about the formula other than it's firm enough to hold it's shape
yet soft and nourishing on the lips, the formula doesn't cling to dry patches
nor does it bleed or feather throughout the day.
It's easy to apply and a great choice for warm days when lipstick is the least of your beauty woes.
In terms of wear I find Clinique Chubby Sticks to wear for around three hours as long as you
don't eat or drink which is fairly substantial.
The pigmentation is more than fair given it is a tinted balm.
