While strolling around my local Boots store I stumbled upon this cute little set of three nail art polishes
which are perfect for creating patriotic nails for supporting Team GB at the Olympics
even if watching it on TV is as close as you will get to viewing any of the activities.
The 17 Best of British Nail Art Kits are limited edition and come in two colour families - a red, white and blue kit and a gold, silver and bronze kit both clearly tapping into the London Olympics 2012 festivities.
The polishes are full sized at 8ml each and have tiny little nail art appropriate brushes
perfect for creating various nail art looks Olympic inspired or not!
The formula of the polishes are typical of Boots 17 formula - fairly thick and opaque after two coats.
The white shade (Mini Skirt) does apply a little streaky as an all over shade but used in nail art it was fine.
Yes the nail art brush is great for creating designs on the nail but for laying down a solid block of polish
not so much, you may what to use a separate brush to do so but all in all a great little budget kit
especially if like me you are new to the nail art world.
Try not to laugh to much at my terrible nail art skillzzzz ;)
The 17 Nail Art Kits cost £4.99 and are currently available in Boots stores for a limited period only!
I saw these in boots the other day, I was unsure of buying because there seems to be a lot of red, whites and blues out at the minute. They look lovely on you, great designs as well xx
ReplyDeleteLooks like a good set of colours that do what they say on the tin, it's a shame so few brands can make a decent white!

Ooh this looks like a good little set, I love that they have tiny nail art brushes instead of regular ones!
