The beauty world is simply buzzing over the new launch of Liz Earle Make-Up
okay last year saw the launch of the sheer skin tints but this may sees the collection expand
to include blushes, lip glosses and so much more.
Your favourite skin care brand just got better!
The packaging of the healthy glow blushes is simple and dinky,
the compact is on the small side and a deep navy blue with a good sized mirror inside.
It's a great size to travel with and feels more than sturdy.
Liz Earle Healthy Glow Cream Blushes comes in seven shades in total,
I was sent Nectar which is described as fresh rose pink
but in my opinion it is a bright yellow based pink coral that is simply beautiful.
Liz Earle list this as a shade that works well on darker skin tones and I can see why,
with a tan it simply pops and gives the impression of a healthy glow with a hint of pink.
Although suggested use is for medium to deep skin tones I do think this would work just as well
on lighter skin tones when blended in to the skin.
The formula of the healthy glow blushes is light and creamy,
that feels moisturising and lightweight on the skin.
They apply and blend seamlessly with very little effort, they do not require warming up before use.
You can apply how you wish, I tried both using my fingers and buffing on with a brush
and both methods worked equally well so it all boils down to personal preference.
In my opinion Nectar is well pigmented and will show up on all skin tones with ease
and as it is soft shade it shouldn't ever look clown like.
As with most cream blushes this is not matte in formula but dries to a soft dewy finish
that is flattering on all skin types and ages as it does not settle into pores/lines.
I also can not see this being problematic on dry skins as it doesn't have a tendency to cling.
In terms of wear this wore for a little over seven hours on my oily skin.

This looks gorgeous. Had the chance to try my first cream blush the other day and I have to say, it really does leave a nicer finish than powdered blush (IMO). I quite like the Coral colour from this range. Might have to give this a go. :)
