Launching on the of May 21st is the Body Shop's limited edition make-up range
that sees them partner up with the beautiful Lily Cole.
As with all of the Body Shop Products this range is cruelty free
and a perfect array of colours for the fairer skinned ladies out there.
The launch has been spilt into two colour families one that is pink based and the other coral,
no prizes for which shade my heart goes a little fluttery for!
One of the most intriguing products from the launch is the Lip and Cheek Domes
which are for lack of a better word domes of colour that look almost jelly like.
I can honestly say I haven't experienced anything quite like the domes before.
The idea is that you can use the product to dispense a sheer wash of colour on the cheek or lips
or throw caution to the wind and use it on both!
The shade Pinch Me Pink is obviously a pink shade but quite a pale pink
with yellow tendencies in my opinion - which will make it flattering on most skin tones.
Pigmentation wise I will be truthful and say it is not mind blowing but it does provide a sheer wash of colour
more so on my lips than it did on my cheeks.
That being said you can build up the shade slightly without it caking or looking over done
or you could use this as a base to apply another shade on top of,
I just wouldn't recommend this particular shade for deeper skin tones.
On the skin it dries to a lovely fresh dewy finish but on the lips it dries to a semi matte finish
and does feel a little drying so be sure to use a balm underneath or a slick of gloss on top.
Generally on my cheeks it lasted around 5 hours but I do have oily skin
and on my lips for around 2 hours so not bad all round.
The Lip and Cheek Domes (£10) launch on the 24th of May along with the rest of the collection.
What do you think of the new collection with Lily Cole?
Any pieces that you simply must have?
