Another week more products to be rotated in with the usual products.
Let's crack on...
Face
MUA BB Cream
I'm going to go for a light base this week and out of all the western BB Creams on the market this
has to be my favourite by far. A great buy at £4!
Benefit Dallas Blush/Bronzer
Oh I how I love Dallas, it is one of the few products I have ever hit pan on
and although it is a dusky mauve shade it translates really wonderfully with my skin tone
and is definitely one of my top five blushes of all time!
Maybelline Bouncy Blushes
I'm going to level with you all I think these blushes are more novel than anything else
and since I bought and trialled them I seldom have used them.
I'm hoping to try one last time before giving up and moving on.
Eyes
MUA Chocolate Box Baked Trio
I'm giving baked eyeshadow a bash this week and find the MUA Baked Trios to be great,
not only are the shades really pretty but they wear and blend well too!
The Body Shop Baked Duo in Copper
The lighter shade of this duo works so well with my eye colouring
and makes them look bluer than they actually are which is always a good thing in my book.
Lips
Clinique Chubby Stick in Bountiful Blush
A little sneaky of me to include this since this shade does not launch until June
but I seriously can not get enough of this brown meets pink shade...it is just so flattering
not to mention so comfortable to wear.
Clarins Jolie Rouge Lipstick in Pink Magnolia
I have neglected this shade terribly so much so it looks barely used...oops!
This week I plan to bust it out and slick some gloss on top to alter the shade ever so slightly
as it leans a little to purple on me without any gloss on top.
Have you shopped your stash lately?
I think you should do a post outlining how much you spend on products every month, I am literally dying to know your budget!! I need to try the MUA BB Cream, I recently got one from Home Bargains which was £1.99 which the the cheapest yet! and actually very good coverage!
ReplyDeleteHaha if I did that i'd need to seek professional help ;) Oh we don't have a HB here but that sounds fab :)
DeleteI have the mua bb cream and i really like it too, i think its the best so far. I find a lot on the market are tinted moisturizers more than bb creams. Great post hun Ax
ReplyDeleteI really couldn't agree more, most are a watery mess aren't they! Thank you so much :)
DeleteI love your shopping the stash posts! Where did you manage to get the bouncy blushes from - ebay/amazon? :)
ReplyDeletegreat post! xx

Thanks so much :) I bought them from eBay a few months back :)
DeleteI think I'm going to have to start shopping my stash, I neglect so many perfectly good products!

You really should it is nice finding neglected products and using them again :)
DeleteI am not very adventurous with products and just keep to my core every dayers usually. Love these posts because they give me ideas of what to buy and how to incorporate more make up in my life. Lets face it who doesn't want more make up!
ReplyDeleteI'm the same that's why I have to do this or I'd use the same 5 products for al my life haha :)
DeleteI have so much make up that I never wear, I definitely need to put some neglected products into rotation.

I feel your pain Ana :)
DeleteI really should try this. I wear the same stuff all the time and I have so much make up, rotating it seems like such a sensible plan.
ReplyDeleteI hope you do :) if you do let me know I'd love to see that post :)
DeleteI don't comment on your blog often but I love your Shop the Stash posts, I love love to have your make up collection.
ReplyDeleteOh you really would't Caroline it is taking over my life haha :)
DeleteI bought the MUA BB Cream and two of their baked trio eyeshadows recently, I love them! You really can't argue with the price for the quality you get!
ReplyDeleteI really couldn't agree more :) I also love their lipsticks!
DeleteI've only got one of their lipsticks, can't wait to give them a go! Think it was Shade 11 :)
DeleteI love the MUA BB Cream, and the Baked eyeshadow trio's! I've even got a review of the Trio's on my blog there amazing! :)

Oh I think I will have to read that :)
Deletei actually love the bouncy blush! i picked up one in 'true orange' in asia where they are called jelly glow. i actually tried hundreds of orangey blush and it was the one that suited me the best (without being ashy), i like how they are buildable. How do you apply it? I use my fingers but i was wondering if it would be better to use a stippling blush?
ReplyDelete*brush sorry)
DeleteTrue orange sounds lovely :) and jelly glow what a cool name haha! I found them to be too sheer an really difficult to build up but when I do attempt to use them I use a Mac 187 or any other stippling brush just because I find it keeps the blush on my skin that little longer :)
DeleteDo The Bouncy Blushes Last Long On The Skin? Im Only Asking Because I Start College In Septemeber So Im Starting To Look For Long Lasting Products I Hope They Bring Them 2 The UK I Just Want To Squish Them Around!Im A Really Mature 16 Year Old, Usually,;)
ReplyDeleteI didn't find them that great in terms of wear of colour pay off sadly, I think like you said the squishing them is more fun than actually wearing them haha! Maybelline Dream Mousse blushes wear much better than these :)
DeleteThank You:) I LOVE The Mousse Blushes They Are Amazing I'll Just Stick With Them For Now Then;)
DeleteLove the look of that Clinique Chubby stick - it really does look like the perfect shade! x
ReplyDeleteI got ( gift) MAC pink swoon blush
ReplyDeleteI have tried a few samples of BB creams but haven't found one that i like, but i am yet to try the MUA one and it seems to be getting great reviews and its also quite cheap, so it may just be the BB cream for me. I do have a bit of the green eyed monster over the Benefit Dallas Blush/Bronzer, i would love it but pennies and all that, although it is something i will get when i can xx
ReplyDeleteI love the MUA baked trio eyeshadows! I used to have one and I wore it all the time! And I agree with you about the bouncy blush. I was really disappointed by them and I never wear mine.
ReplyDeleteI tagged you in a post to get to know other bloggers! If you have time, it would be awesome if you did it (:

I love these Shopping the Stash posts! So fun! I agree with you, Dallas is a great powder! I like to use it to contour a bit & then bring it up onto my cheeks :)
