At the moment I feel like I am on an never ending "use up the dregs" type situation.
I have a terrible habit of using half a bottle of something and abandon mid way through
in favour of something new!
However I really hate waste and promised myself all those half used bottles will be completed
and I can say my personal vendetta against half used products - halfsies if you will
is going well!

What I'd Buy Again :
N-Spa Lemon Souffle Body Scrub - Great value scrub that is really gritty.
Vo5 Give Me Moisture Conditioner - Fab deep conditioner that can be used daily.
What I Wouldn't Buy Again :
Boots Essentials Cucumber Facial Wash - Mediocre
Morrisons Baby Shampoo - Not as great as leading brands.
Morrisons Soak It Up Shampoo - Only bought because it smells like Ice Pops!
What I'm Impartial About:
L'Oreal Elvive Nutri Gloss Shampoo and Conditioner - Would buy if on special offer.
Herbal Essences Dazzling Shine Shampoo - Okay, nothing special.
Sephora Waterproof Eye Make Up Remover - Hard to get in the UK

I felt the same about the Herbal Essences dazzling shine, i think i had higher hopes for it. I use the straightening one when it's on offer but I was so disappointed by dazzling shine (I think I only bought it because it was in Poundland). If you like your hair straight I would recommend the straightening one a million times over though!

I really love when people do empties posts because it makes me realise that I actually have a ridiculous amount of stuff that I should be using up instead of buying more and more! So I'm really trying atm to use things up! :) Hopefully I'll have an empties post of my own in a few weeks! xo

This is a good way to see what products are overseas and to learn if you care for them or not. Hooray on working through the halfsies. Gosh, I do the same thing when I get a new product. And, like you, I'm working on finishing up products.

ReplyDeleteI am working through the baby washes that don't agree with the kids' skin. On a different note I am also working through a tube of GOSH foundation before my newly ordered MUA BB cream arrives. I 100% blame you and your review for this reckless purchase :-P x

dont know have you tried L'Oreal Arginine resist, but it's great and I'd recommend it to everyone, the best shampoo i've ever tried.
ReplyDeletelove the boots essentials cucumber range, i have the wipes, cleanser and toner and love them all. You are doing really well with the emptys, maybe i need to start trying to finish things off, having like 4 shampoos opened and 6 conditioners is just a waste, plus it would stop my bf from moaning about all the money i spend on beauty products (or as he calls it more crap!)xx
