The newest launch from Models Own is the collaboration with Hed Kandi,
five beautiful bright colours that capture the party essence of the island of Ibiza perfectly
and is the perfect nail polish wardrobe for the summer regardless if you are jetting off to Ibiza or not.
Today I am going to share all five shades with you so you can see them in action,

Oddly Balearic Cool was the shade I was most excited to test and i'm not really one for blue polishes
but this shade is one of the nicest blue shades I have set eyes on in a long time!
Balearic Cool is a turquoise shade that is almost neon blue which sadly my camera hasn't really picked up on
but in reality it border lines neon blue and is a really funky shade!
However I did find the consistency of this polish to be a little runny and apply patchy
so if you want full coverage I am afraid this is a three coater
but so worth the time and effort!
Models Own polishes come well packaged and have a nicely sized brush,
I feel the price point is fair as generally speaking the formula is always pretty much great
and wears when set with a top coat for up to five days!

I wonder why it's come out like that - Models own polishes are normally pretty good for coverage. Annoying!

ReplyDeleteThis looks like it has a similar consitency to pink punch by Models Own, it needs wuite a few coats to look opaque, but it does look really pretty once it's done :)

I'm losing faith in Model's Own unfortunately, the consistency really isn't the best. A white base coat can definitely help with opacity, but it's a little annoying that you have to do that.

Baaaaaaaw. I am pretty disappointed in the coverage of this but it's such a pretty color!
