Yesterday's arrival of April's Joliebox took me by surprise
I thought it came around a little quicker than normal...not that I'm complaining of course!
Anyway enough jibber jabber and on to what is inside and my thoughts.

The little Joliebox magazine is one of my favourite things in the whole box.
Both times it has been included I can honestly say I read it before I even look inside my box/bag
to see what goodies have been sent that month...oops!

Balance Me
Daily Essentials Cleanse and Smooth Face Balm
I expected this to be quite similar to Liz Earle's Cleanse and Polish
however it is not at all, in-fact it is rather watery and more akin to a typical facial scrub.
It has a light citrus scent and is fairly effective and removing make-up/grime etc without
leaving my skin red or painful as some scrubs can do.
I can't comment much further as the sample is fairly small and after two uses it was finished.
Final thought - Not one I'd actively seek out but a decent enough scrub.

Tropic Skincare
Skin Revive
Over the course of many months and many beauty boxes I have tested many Tropic Skincare products
but none have really blown me away and suffice to say this doesn't either.
I really dislike the strong citrus scent and didn't find the moisturiser to be any more beneficial
than any other moisturiser out there.
Final thought - Wouldn't buy or test again.

Pure Fiji
Exotic Bath and Body Oil
This is such a beautifully scented product, it has a light but milky coconut scent that I could just eat!
I'm not really a fan of oil products in all truthfulness but I can imagine this would be lovely in a bath.
I rubbed a little into some dry areas I have and found it to be really moisturising
as long as you can handle the greasiness that comes with oils...I can't.
Final thought - Must get a bath tub!

Black Mascara
This is a full size product that comes well packaged - can anyone else see a hint of Chanel?
I found this mascara to be very black and enjoyed the natural fibre brush that it has
but I did find it to have a strong scent of alcohol and flake a little towards the end of the day.
This mascara does contain fibres to make your eyelashes look thicker and longer -
which it succeeds in doing but not ideal for contact lens wearers.
Final thoughts - A nice enough black mascara but a little too scented for my taste.

KMS California
Freeshape Hot Flex Spray
This is a heat protection spray that not only protects the hair against heat but sets any style
that you create when using heat, I tested it while straightening my hair
and was impressed by how well it worked without being sticky.
My hair seldom stays straight and flat but I awoke this morning after using this yesterday
with perfectly straight and smooth hair.
Final thoughts - Must get full size version.

So that is my thoughts on this months box, what are yours?
